Lots of great looking cars. One thing I dislike about the older models is the side-view mirrors. It's the only change the US-specs got right in many cases/ You can clearly see the American influences in a lot of the 60's through late 70's designs. There are many US classic cars that I genuinely love the design of, but absolutely hate how large they are. Japan's car sizes are often a lot better. In fact, one thing I hate about modern Japanese cars is how large they've become. Civic is a prime example.
@@kelvinarreola Yeah I think it's better to use on the door. The fender mirrors are good because they don't hang off the side, and they're true to a JDM period car. I prefer the door look though, and at some point Japan decided to go that way too. I never did understand why they were the only country that had them on the fenders.
Dang! I should bring out my 2003 Celica GT to your meet. Needs some work. Me and my gf owned it since 2003. Some right side body damage but minor. She doesn’t know how to drive. Lol and need paint just because it’s original paint.
@@kelvinarreola Hey Fella, could you tell me where and when is this Celica meet will come again? i have owned Celicas and Supras for decades and i wil be getting them back in action in the future and need some parts and much upgrade info i can get my hands on. BTW. great video and nice music instrumental of ' OH HONEY '.
Some very nice Celicas. Would have loved one but my parents bought a first series Toyota Mk11 which had a small gutless 6 cylinder engine. Thirsty and disappointing performance.
