Welcome Gardeners! Larkspur (also known as Delphinium) was the easiest and most beautiful flower I grew in my garden this year! So today I will be harvesting larkspur seeds so I can grow more larkspur in my garden next year!
What is the difference between Larkspur and Delphinium? Delphinium tends to be a perennial species, whereas larkspur is an annual. The foliage of larkspur is finer textured than delphinium. Not only is larkspur beautiful and easy to grow, but it will add so much charm and whimsy to your garden so I highly recommend it!

Good morning, and thank you for taking the time to visit me. I was very blessed and never sewed mylarkspurs seeds. Last year when the plants went to seed, and the capsules dried up, I saved the seeds then scattered them in my garden in winter/very early Spring when it was still raining. As much to my surprise, many must have germinated because I got beautiful larkspur plants this Spring. I just scattered them and let nature do the rest. Hope that helps. 💜💜💜Liz

I decided to not purchase the pink ones I picked out bc larkspur are very toxic and I don't want to risk harming any wildlife or pets
