@@LarryWheels He is definitely enjoying himself to bro, he can see your potential within the scene which is probably why you can tell how pumped up he is when you are training. Exciting times to be on youtube, thats for sure... good luck!
Bulkislove Bulkislife true, I guarantee in the future when we’re all grandpas, kids will be looking at these 8 weeks of videos for advice. Really excited to see the development of Larry and his strongman journey.
Oh, you think the darkness is your ally, you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man -batman movie Lol
Ask Thor to explain the meaning behind his wolf tattoo. That shit is nuts. Been watching your channel for a while now. Your determination and motivation to progress is inspiring. Thanks for the content.
@Lester Green he was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy a couple years back. Not sure if you know of Jim Ross (good ol' JR), the commentator for WWF/WWE, but it's the same condition that he had which caused the drooping on one side of his face.
MustangMatt I would be surprised if he's getting paid...i mean why can't they just train together, just for the sake of new challenge, entertainment and good will?
@@MustangMatt Larry has such a big audience that Thor profits a lot off of being on his channel alone, by getting more possible costumers for his sponsors and his clothing brand etc.
This whole time I have been watching Larry, months and months of awesomeness and I just realized, just now that I wasnt subscribed. Idk how it happened.
Larry Wheels I can’t make it work between a USPA meet and the Arnold, if I’d have known that was your first show, I coulda changed up the schedule! You just gotta bring the thunder and get that Arnold spot, so we can throw down brother. Focus and treat each individual event as its own competition and you’ll see it t through.
larry is one of the strongest out there but shaw, thor and others would destroy him. powerlifting to strongman isnt easy. pulling a truck with a rope requires a diff level of grip strength for example @@chrisdejager3583
i think they look all right. Not ugly at all You wanna see ugly glasses, i mean just look up any feminists with glasses lmao. idk how they wear them at the eye doctor and actually think those frames looked good on them, i swear to God.
The biggest and stronger guys in the world are always so soft spoken.. But when they yell or scream it's like thunder roaring. Two beast doing what they do best.
Corey Garrett You don’t inject steroids into your pec/arms. You inject it into the upper left quadrant of your ass cheek or your quads. The only time you’d ever inject a steroid into your shoulder, is medically or by the tiny tiny chance that you can’t inject in either ass cheek or quad.
@@chadworley8389 this is striaght up wrong . It is common place for users to split there dosage up to several sight injections. Particularly in muscle groups people want to work on.
Iam assuming he got shit in his last title because he posted "worlds strongest man" in his last video with Thor. Whilst Thor being the last winner of WSM, is the least winning and probably the weakest of the big 3, Eddie, Brian and himself.
same, but stones give me way worse anxiety than deadlift. What’s funny though is no matter what shoes you have on, if you drop that weight on your foot it’s a goner regardless. But somehow the mind still thinks your safer with shoes lol
That’s if he was aiming for strongman but this training series won’t last and if he puts on 20% to his body fat that’ll seriously affect his bodybuilding in future and be hard to lose
I dont know. Faceless is undefeated and very well trained in strongman competition. Larry will get there im sure but you can never count out the faceless specially with his track record...
Faceless destroyed a professional strong man from Germany, Patrick Baboumian let us not forget that. I think a lot of people are underestimating the faceless by a long shot
@@damjanradovanovic1412 eddie hall was actually very unhealthy on the inside when he was competing. Currently has has lost significant amounts of fat and is healthier than before for sure.I dont know how he is exactly but befora he was definately unhealthy
PLEASE LIKE TO HELP LARRY: I hope Larry takes a look at Marius Pudzianowski and how he dominated all of these different events as a smaller man (relatively) to the others. Shredded, shorter, leaner, I think that would help him a lot. There are some disadvantages to being shorter but also some benefits how Larry does the farmers carry literally had me flashback and looked exactly like Marius which will be strengths for both of them.
The other thing people don’t realize about an axle bar is it is a 1” deficit and it the weight sits out further from your body as well due to the diameter taxing the hamstrings.
@@wasabiemans The bar is 2" around instead of 1" so your hands are going to start in a slightly lower position to grip the bar making the pull longer I explain further in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L0NBvrMVtUk.html
@@kennanlynn4977 Larrys next contest has an axle deadlift and thors has a whippy bar (the elephant bar). You want to train as specific as possible this close to a contest.
Alot of strongman disciplines are amrap in 60 seconds...so conditioning is very important in strongman...people think they are "fat and slow" but that just isnt the case
@@hodornador6085 yeah, I can see that as the majority of people who know very little about strong man. Also I think a lot of the public is influenced by Hollywood and fashion to think skinny with low body fat is healthy which is not always true especially for the women.
Baxter James Pudz was the most dominant champ period. Has all top finishes and runner ups and literally quit on top. If the competition required it he would’ve lifted more
If you aren't loud and encouraging, then you aren't hitting your 1 rep max! Science people! Great work Thor and Larry!!! Can't wait to see you both at the Arnold!
Larry is probably one of the best student Thor ever had. Just saying cause I don't know much about. Anyway, Larry will surely be another Strongman Legend as per his training, lifting capacity and training for Strongman with a Legend like Thor. Besides, Larry Wheel has devotion in what he does. Always the best students becomes champions.
Larry it looks like you are going to have a killer career at strong man! I am looking forward to see you shock the he'll out of the veteran strong men!👏👍💪💪
Justice Warrior did not mean it in the sense of his strongman capabilities, just for the fact that he’s jacked and shredded, and not as tall as other top strongmen.
@@anthonyumezinwa94 Since i have lived in Iceland all my life (34 years) and have never seen this app everybody keeps talking about, I will confirm based on my own experience and the experience of everybody i know here in Iceland, that this is the definition of fake news.
@@thunderhammer1937 ive heard most strongmen keep it incredibly simple. and no way he's running tren while prepping for a competition. absolutely kills cardio. @BeastModeFitness11 is what i was thinking, like maybe 800mg-1g of test and maybe some joint recovery stuff. Would be interested to hear it from him tho. not even dosages just what hes using
18:37 It's crazy to see the world's strongest man do this with such ease. It's also worth noting that Thor's Dad is putting in so much work he seems to be loading and unloading all the weights in that gym and you can see him putting them away again, unloading the deadlift bar at 18:37
This is your best series of vids yet, Larry. No worries on being loud during lifts to psych up, btw...that is perfectly normal! What justifiably drew some flack some months back was one particular training partner you had who carried on with excessive shit-talking and nonsense...took things to an unreasonable and cringe-worthy level. You and BTC were never a problem...it just got to be too much and downright annoying when your other buddy was around behaving like a clown for minutes between sets. All that said...what is still freaky impressive is when once in a while, you do happen to calmly and almost serenely approach a ridiculously heavy lift...and proceed to just confidently and completely blow it away, walking off as if just sauntering home after a usual day at work. That's some next level stuff when it naturally happens now and then, such that you might not even have noticed when it does!
He's not training grip here, He has to use staps since he woulnd't be able to hold the bar without them. Now the reason he uses the axle bar is because it's so thick all the weights is lifted of the ground at the same time. In a normal deadlift the bar isn't that strong and bend so that some of the weights stays on the ground longer than other there for making it easier to lift.
