Disagree, Seinfeld is better. Jerry is the difference and he made it more mainstream. Curb is like a version of Seinfeld where the main character is George Costanza. What made Seinfeld work was the dichotomy between Jerry and George. Without Jerry you just have Larry David's annoying antics. I can't binge Curb because of it whereas I can easily binge watch Seinfeld.

I think Hoda definitely doesn't know Seinfeld, or she wouldn't have asked those questions (quitting your job and going back, and the answering machine tape retrieval) even casual Seinfeld/Larry fan would know the answers to whereas Savannah seemed to know. And kudos to her, by the way, for setting Larry up and getting him to riff; ie, the couch pillow bit, the LA/NY bit, and a few others. Good skills shown by her.

It's it just me or is it interesting that they ended off the retrospect with "you want to impress people with lies?". This is subconscious craft work. The last thing people heard and saw was the word 'lies' and Larry David's face just before he was going to say positive things about Bernie.
