Larry Fuller - Old Reuben "Instrumental banjo and guitar pickin"
Col. Larry Fuller grew up in eastern Kentucky and went to Phelps Elementary School, later he went to Phelps High School before quitting and moving to Columbus, Ohio.
Fuller moved back to Kentucky in the early '70s and for the next 17 years worked underground in the McCoy-Elkhorn and Chisholm coal mines. Then one day while working in a mine, Fuller injured his back and had to quit. "After I got to where I could get around again, I started singing again and traveling," he said. "I moved to Irvine, Kentucky, and later to Richmond, Kentucky.
Fuller died on September 22, 2007 after his tour bus caught on fire as it sat in the driveway of Fuller's Richmond home. He was 58.

@@larryfullermusic I'm so sad to read of his fate. I'm no expert on this type of music but "Grandma's Gone" is beautiful, haunting and touched me deeply. I was checking condition to sell it. It's in my desert island keeper stack now. Thanks for response. My best to you.

@@earlkliethermes9329 He was very loved in this area of Kentucky and West Virginia and many other places. It was a shock to all of us to hear about his passing and how he died in his drive way. We just never know when our time comes. I try to keep his memory and awesome music going. Larry Fuller helped raise money for my uncle who was battling cancer back in early 1980s.
