Lars and Kirk take Kurt Loder on a tour of San Francisco to give him a little Metallica history lesson. The highlight is probably seeing the "Metallica Mansion" where Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets were both written. It's almost hard to fathom that there was once a time where things like this were shown on MTV. I get that nowadays this video would just be some kind of random social media post, but in 1991 this was jaw-droppingly cool.
I redigitized this using an upgraded VCR (Panasonic AG-1980) and upscaled it to HD (sort of) using Topaz Video AI. I tried to keep the upscale looking as natural as possible.
