Well I think the CMC flat single stage 3.5 lbs is the best AR trigger. I mean you might get one as good if you pay twice as much. Plus they are made in Texas. So me being a Texican, I might be biased 👍
All the reviews I've seen have found lighter trigger pull weights than advertised. But there's been a good variety of averages. Thanks for explaining how where you pull matters.
So.... my Daniel Defense M4 V11 Pro came with the Geissele SD-3G trigger. Great trigger but not so great for target/precision shooting. Any suggestions for a 2 stage?
Sorry, dude...I only have experience with the SSA, SSA-E, and the two MBT triggers. On a dedicated bench gun out of those four the SSA-E is the lightest so I'd pick that. Check out my other review of the Geissele and the standard MBT: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zV_6QhfVneg.html
I have the same trigger and love it !! and for the price I can get 3 LaRues for the price of 1 high end brand name. PS great info on the trigger areas pull weight I didnt not know that, great vid bro
About to get my first non mil spec AR trigger. Extremely happy I found this trigger before I spent almost $300 on a Geissele. I can use that saved cash on a streamlight hlx or a holosun 3X magnifier. I wonder how many weeks/months it’ll be before I receive it? Not that it matters, I’ve been a “enhanced” mil spec only guy since my first AR in 2002 ish. I was taught that if you can’t outshoot a mil spec, you don’t deserve one of the elite triggers hahaha.
Nice! I agree, everyone should learn on gear that forces good habits and form, that way you never become dependent on gear, but instead, the gear just enhances your efficiency.
@@Willoajsjs yes i totally am impressed by it like night n day from a stock trigger best upgrade i coulda made to my ar !!! made such a difference in my groups!!!
@@Willoajsjs i actually went to the range to sight in some new rounds for deer season last weekend and was getting about 1' groups at 100 yds about half what i was getting before it is a really nice trigger!!! nice crisp break!!1
Thanks! I don't even know why I have that rear BUIS on there, honestly. It's not zeroed and I've never used it, lol. ELCANs don't fail, I think put it there so when I rotate optics around it'll be easy to find.
I've had the Larue MBT-87 curved trigger for 1 year and I love it.It actually has a lighter pull than is advertised and it fits me perfectly.I checked it with my Wheeler Trigger gauge and taped it ti trigger so it would always be in the same spot and rifle was in a vise so everything stayed in one spot to increase accuracy. I highly recommend it.Good Video.Nice gun.
Nice rig, I have been looking at one of these, thanks for the video might have to get on, going in my LR-308 build, now afraid to cause sounds like I would have to just get 2 one for the 308 & the 5.56. Also don't take this the wrong way but everytime you racked that AR back it sounded ot me as if was screaming for some lube. Just saying, each to their own. Great video.
He also would ride the bolt, they told us in BCT to NEVER do that. It's HORRIBLE for the weapon. Poor civilians rape their weapons then wonder why they no longer work all of a sudden one day then pawn them and buy a new one wasting thousands and thousands of dollars staying poor bums living in a trailer. Kinda sad really
Pinger 556, Is your first name Ken? Your wife is Karen? Anon Ymous, It's been 5 months since you wrote that stupid comment. Retract it and stop spreading misinformation. You guys suck.
