I used to be a bus boy back in the day at a Chinese restaurant. Every time someone orders the Peking duck, one of the lucky cooks cuts it up like the guy there. All meat on a plate. His reward was the carcass with some meat left. He would cut it up and make duck noodle soup for the rest of us in the back to go along with our dinner. If you were smart, you'd ask to get the carcass cut up and take it home for soup. No wonder whole roasted duck is overrated.
Terrance: totally agree...people should insist on taking the carcass home. It makes amazing broth even for prepackaged ramen noodles...just don’t use the soup packets
thank you for letting me live vicariously through you two as you go visit various restaurants. I can't wait for the shot so I'll go out among the hordes.
Omg, discovered your vids back Mar 2020 when the corona lockdowns began and have been watching regularly ever since. Always assumed I had subscribed and here I am just now realizing. So appreciate how wholesome you both are!

I’m glad I just subbed.... this video gives me ideas for my trip next week... I haven’t tried any of those dishes before but for sure going to make it a point to try them.
Kung Hee Faat Choy! Thank you for taking us along to Vegas for Chinese New Year! It was nice to see the displays at the Bellagio and Aria. Dining at Din Tai Fung looked great! Best wishes for a brighter, and healthy, new lunar year! 🧧
Kung Hey Fat Choy 🧧🎉 🤩 love your videos. Love and miss Las Vegas. Love all the foods especially the BBQ duck. Looks really yummy 😋. Nice to see Leslie on the Chinese lunar new year. Thank you Lisa and Bill ❤️
Happy Lunar New Year! Happy to see Leslie again. It all looks so good. Cannot wait to try Din Tai Fung. My mouth is watering! Great video. Take care and stay safe.
Hey Bill and Lisa! Happy new year! Great video as always, it's good to see Leslie again and that she's doing well! Really cool to see some more upscale, fancy Chinese cuisine for the new year. I hope you'll pardon me for dropping a couple of paragraphs here in your comment section, but there were just a few things I felt I had to share with you. First, I found your channel a couple months ago and my wife and I have absolutely loved it! Since we haven't traveled at all due to covid, it's so nice to be able to feel like we're going along with you guys on all your trips. Especially love the Japan vlogs! It's just relaxing, fun, and interesting to see all the places you go and foods you eat in Vegas, Hawaii, NOLA, and all up and down the west coast. We're in the LA area too, so it's awesome to learn about new places near us from all your LA features! Other than that, I wanted to let you guys know that I featured your channel in my latest video! If you would like to see it, you can find the link here: Your segment begins at 11:56 and ends at 12:36. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PsstZIUxCJo.html But if you can't find the time, no worries I totally understand! I don't have nearly the same reach as you, so I don't know if it will help others find your channel, but I just wanted to spread the love and let as many people as I can know about your awesome content! You just have such a warming, comforting vibe and go to so many places and eat great food! In a lot of ways you remind me of my own parents (in a good way!), especially because my mom is Japanese-American and my dad is Chinese-American. Your efficiency and frugality really speaks to my core, lol. Anyway, the point really is just to say thank you to you guys. Your channel has helped me in so many ways and you can definitely consider me a loyal fan now! Thanks so much for all you do and creating such great videos that are both relaxing and inspiring. I wish you both the best! (and Leslie too!)
Thank you for your comment, Tim. We're both so happy that we can bring some food & travel entertainment into your home. And, we found the time, very soothing and professional video, two thumbs up!!
I commented too soon then I saw the rest of your video I'm so glad you picked the shrimp and walnut dish at Hong Kong Cafe in my opinion it's pretty much the only good thing they have. I used to eat there all the time because I got 50% off since I worked at the Palazzo and that shrimp dish was delicious ,but it is very expensive if you don't have the 50% off. I never got the Peking duck, but that did look amazing !! if you're venturing off strip please go to the restaurant called Locale, it's a new little Italian place and it is so amazing heirloom carrots with ricotta and pistachio sauce and their salted caramel bodini is my favorite. I just went and got it again last night it will be the fourth time this month !
Bill and Lisa! Caroline and I have been loving all the new videos you have posted so far this year! You are the best! It was so great to meet you at Cosmo. One day would love to see you in Vegas again so Caroline can meet you too! We just tried Din Tai Fung as your video made it look so amazing! And it was just that! ❤️ we loooved! It was great food. Great service. And overall a fantastic experience. I am very bad about commenting on videos. But we love them all. Keep doing what you do! Cheers!
Yes! So glad you and Caroline liked Din Tai Fung, we really like their XLB and dumplings there. We still need to make it to Yellowtail from your recommendation. Hope to see you guys in Vegas again!
It's so fun to watch both of you. Not sure if you have already but it would be awesome to have you collaborate with All You Can Vegas - Derek Thomas and his fiancé when you're in Vegas. Refreshing to see good manners, good company, and good taste!
Happy Lunar New Year 🐂! All the food 🥟🍚🍤 looked delicious, but there’s something special about Peking duck - and that duck was meaty! Thanks for taking your viewers along for the food ride!
Oh my gosh! I was at Aria for that same week we had the sky villa suites COMPED! wish I would've known you were there! We had Din Tai in Orange County, so delicious
Fully vaccinated yesterday...... fingers crossed I can travel soon ........so miss Vegas lol my husband is an OX I am a snake looking forward to see what’s a head for him being the OX sign. Your sister is pretty like you😁. Food looks delicious
Great video. Gung Hei Fat Choi! Great review of Din Tai Fung. That’s in my list to try out. And the other place for the Peking Duck also looked oh so yummy!
Gung Hay Fot Choy!!! Sun Tai Geen Hong!!! Wishing Lisa, Bill, Chris, Erin & Nico good health, wealth, happiness and prosperity for the Year of the 🐂!!! Love, Jade 🤗💜
Great video! I love Chinese food and Dim Sum and dumplings are the best! I really like that one that is shaped like a nuclear cooling tower in the Simpson's haha! Cool holiday things on display there too. Awesome!
That restaurant looks really good I spent most of the day working at the Aria today and then I gambled and won $825.00 , it has been really lucky for me the last two times I've been there. I even hit a $1,000 ball on the dragon link last week !! in fact I was gambling right by that sign where you take the picture for the new year. I see you showed it on your video ! That restaurant makes me miss Tim ho won and those sugary Bao buns (those were the best). I miss all the restaurants at The Palms... Mabel's and the Lucky Penny... I wish they would open it back up
Another great video!!! Food looks really good! We visit the Aria 3 times a year and stay in the sky suites!! This is our favorite hotel with great restaurants! Might have to try those dumplings since we have never had those before. Keep having fun and enjoying tasting different flavors! Cant wait to see your next adventure!
The Bellagio look fantastic!! You two have made(soup🍲 )Dumplings one of my favorite foods.I now have rush to get some before Ash Wednesday (giving up 🍖 🥓 🥩 meats) just so that I can use Lisa's tip to make them spicy !!!
Those ribs looked delicious, need to try next time at Din Tai Fung. Glad to see another spot to try Peking Duck. Mott 32 was our first time having that as well!
Another great vlog. You two have a phenomenal food budget. Bill shrugs off a $200 price tag like a regular Joe buying a burger! I could probably afford it, but would only spend $200 maybe once or twice a year, no matter what! Vegas has gotten crazy with their pricing!!!!
