Had my first in room dining experience in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel. Stayed at the Palazzo Tower which has slightly bigger rooms. The in room dining options are the same as the Venetian. The room service food was amazing!

That's how they train them in hotels usually. I always get a couple meals so I can go back and just eat the food later, but the server sets up for two if you get more than one entree. This happens @ 90% of hotels I got room service in.

I have a policy when it comes to visiting anywhere in the desert: NEVER go in the summer. My favorite time of year to visit Vegas, for example, is mid-late January after CES has ended. The prices tend to be really good for rooms that time of year for some reason. I spent a week there on Fremont Street for only $27 a night.

Great video! I worked in the casino business for 38 years in four states and two countries, nothing matched the experience of my 11 years working at The Venetian/Palazzo. I was part of the opening team in 1999. Sheldon Adelson and his wife, Dr. Miriam Adelson shared a vision, they made it come to life, team members were treated like all guests and paid very well. I enjoyed knowing exactly how the room service agent would answer the phone, finish the interaction. (Yes, they even had Phone Interaction training for all team members) She was text-book perfect!

For future reference, when you stay at a hotel you can ask the front desk to give you a complimentary razor, toothbrush and toothpaste if you forget and some other toiletries depending on the hotel.

Loved this room service video! It's a very cozy environment to review food and it's really appealing to watch when I'm just chowing down at my desk. Looking forward to more videos like this! The food does look good! Actually, most hotels in Asia have all day in-room dining, but that’s not the case in the US. Vegas is a totally different situation as it’s generally catered for tourists (domestic and international), and well … it’s Vegas. Also, you’re supposed to call “services” to collect the plates and utensils after you finish, or you can wait until they come to make up your room for them to collect. I think having stayed in hotels in Asia so much has definitely spoiled me and uplifted my expectations to a whole different level.

Las Vegas translates to The Meadow, yeah, it's surrounded by mountains, it's a big valley. Also, excellent choice starting with the Venetian. The ISD is seriously top notch. When it comes to bussing the tables, room service will take care of that for you. You can also just call and they will come up any time.

My favorite hotel is the Venetian for food. The connection hallway between Pallazo and Venetian has tons of restaurants you can just go downstairs to eat at and they are all good. I lived there for a few weeks about 7 years ago for work and tried every restaurant. Great choice of hotels!

If you forgot your toiletries, you usually can pick up a set at the front counter for free. I remember The Palms, before they shut down, gave me a couple of sets of toothbrush, toothpaste, razors, etc. Same at The Mirage.

In most hotels you can order off the room service menu and tell them you’ll come down and pick it up. It often makes a big difference bc they charge a delivery fee plus tip all added into the bill. We were tipping on top of it for a few days before we even noticed 🤦🏻‍♀️ last hotel we stayed at it was around $19 cheaper to just take an elevator ride down and grab our food.

I REALLY enjoyed watching you have room service! I'm coming to Vegas for the first time in September and haven't decided which hotel I wanted to stay at but just because of this video, it will probably be the Venetian just to experience the room service and the happiest you're having on this video. Everyone who is shocked by those prices, room service is very expensive in LV. Resorts usually tack on a flat room service fee and a 18-20% service charge in addition to those prices. Wynn/Encore is known for also for having one of the best in-room dining.
