LASD Film "Physical Control Techniques-The Baton", Part Two, 1963 (Original from LASD Archive) 

In its many configurations, the police baton has been a valuable part of Law Enforcement weaponry over the last half century. This training film includes parries of attack, blocking and counter-attack techniques with footage of LASD Instructors demonstrating proper methods for the 1960's. An amusing dramatization of baton use against 'suspects' is shown. Produced by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Photographic Reserve in 1963. Introduction by Sheriff Peter Pitchess.
