was wondering why you engrave on the back? is it possible to engrave on the front or would the beam reflect of the mirror or is there anyway to engrave on the front
It depends on the finish and look you are going for. I didn't have good success engraving the front and found that the look was better by lightly engraving the finish used for the mirror effect off the back and flipping the pattern. You can engrave the front like normal acrylic. If you have an adjustable focus there might be more options. I haven't played with that though.
Estela Nuno It comes with software but I found it to be pretty poor. (But works)... Arduino/grbl is open source hardware that replaces the controller inside the machine. It allows you to use more options for open source control software. You need to be reasonably tech savvy to attempt the upgrade.
