I have a laser engraver, but haven't used it on bike parts yet. I need to get after it. Also, some of us enjoy your ramblings, so don't be swayed by a single commenter.
Just a reminder that there are many products like this on the market, and many of them are surprisingly unsafe (not speaking directly for LaserPecker). Lacking the appropriate shielding and serious PPE can cause eye damage or burns in an instant especially when marking metal components. Even when companies ship these with PPE like "safety glasses" I have seen instances where they are found to not be suitable material for the lasers being supplied. IMO these are one of the pieces of equipment that a hobby maker should take much more serious than something like a 3d printer.
