Yes but need 4 letters and 4 numbers and a semi colon 1/4" to 3/4" based on project on flat sandstone for desk size plaques so how do I get that done???…. I’m not dropping 10 grand on a laser for occasional projects
Hello. I'm interested in this as a business.. have a great idea for it too. Could really be lucrative... Are you still Lazer etching? I have a lot of questions.... Cost for starters.
The Laser I used for this is a fiber laser which runs n a different frequency etc. The longer appears to be a diode laser. I run 3 diode laser up toa 40watt and I don't think it would work real well on stone for a "deep" etch
Hey, I am a stone company and I thought a diode laser to put our logo on all our samples. The diode only works on 30% of our colours. We have tried tape and all sorts of methods. Will a fiber laser work on more colours of stone than the diode laser?
I cut slabs. I write where I got them in oil paint pen between the rubber feet. How long to engrave “sunny beach, mt. Blah blah, your state here”? How many could I do in an afternoon? Is it just a gigantic hassle that I should forget?
The sandstone ones I do only take 5 or 10 minutes to get a deep enough engraving for what I was doing. Entirely depends on your time and what your looking to do if it's worth it. For me it was
Not at home at the minute but in the description is Speed - 2500, Frequency - 45, and Power - 95% with 5 passes for a deep etch. .025 and snake in Ezcad

Thank you for the comment. Yep I can blow out the fan and such in the laptop which has been running in the same spot for several years, on top of the fact the black and silver hose to the left of gantry is the ventilation system which sucks out a good amount of the dust
I've offered parameters and help for people in the past and found that it becomes painful to try to help people that aren't willing to try to learn or test thier own equipment.
@@YourCouchsucks You did not answer my question. What is the benefit of this video if you are not telling about parameters values. If you belive, as you said, that people don't want to learn by themselves and so don't deserve the info, then why you did make the video.
