wanted to come on here and share my experience with Kenzzi in the hopes that it can help someone! I watched another youtuber recommend it and I hateeee shaving or waxing so I thought this would be my dream come true. and it wasn't lol I bought it in the beginning of August 2020 and decided to start with my armpits and V area (doing my whole legs sounded like too much work lol) I kept count of every single time I did it so that I would know when the 12 weeks were done, and let me tell y'all, I saw NO. DIFFERENCE. AT. ALL. my hair is dark but I mean, nothing crazy and from videos I had watched about Kenzzi, it seemed like it worked for legit everybody. After the 12 weeks I kept doing it once a week but I stopped keeping count cuz it was pointless. and now, March 2021, after !!!!7 MONTHS!!!!, I can say I have started seeing a difference only on my V area. I see some patches of no hair but wherever there is hair growing, it looks like it normally did before I even started with Kenzzi. My armpits look the exact same as before I started which is frustating afffff. I do it once a week 3 times each spot in the highest setting. Honestly at this point I don't even know if it's worth trying anymore but it's been so long I just wanna keep going to convince myself that one day something will happen and this purchase will have been worth it lol With that being said, I'm really happy for people like Kayley and AnnaLaura and seeing that they had great results, just wanted to come on here and post my experience since it ain't just rainbows and butterflies like the entire youtube community makes it seem like LOL
I have had the exact same experience as you. I started with it before Kayley's first video on it and I have not seen any results whatsoever. It's very frustrating.
Tysm for sharing! I've seen SOOOO many people experience amazing results, and, really thought about purchasing this. Honestly, I sugar wax; which I don't really mind. This seemed like a nice alternative. But I think I'll wait...don't really want to spend the money right now. Sugaring, though it takes more effort, is working so I'll stick with it for now 🤷🏾♀️
I bought mine 2 months ago so I'm only 8 weeks in but THE RESULTS BLOWING MY MIND SO FAR. I'm sorry it didn't work for you, that is super frustrating. :( Like they told Annalaura, I've been doing 3 passes over my V and legs and I barely have hair anymore D:
My experience with Kenzzi was a complete nightmare. I saw so many influencers saying that it was great and decided to give it a shot. I had some issues with customs and needed help from their customer support because they did not send me an invoice for the purchase. They took WEEKS to answer me, I tried their e-mail, IG, FB everything, and when they answered it was too late. In the end, I had to pay TWICE the price of the product in tax customs because they ship from Hong Kong (ironically it was a free shipping deal). So if you are buying from the EU, please think again. I've been using it for about 2 months and I have seen no difference yet and it also overheats, so if you are thinking on using it all over your body, you have to give the device some breaks in between uses.
I just wanted to say I really appreciated your disclaimer at the end of the video about body hair preferences! It’s always nice to see people mention stuff like that.
I have been using the Kenzzi since last summer, and I must say it's really not as great as influencers make it seem. I've seen very minimal results on my armpits and bikini area, and okay results on my legs, but in no way is my hair gone after using it for several months (weekly at full power if not more often). There was a 3-4 week period that I didn't use it at all and ALL the progress was completely gone, so it's definitely not permanent. Not to mention you need to shave before you even use the product, so I'm not saving any money or time in that regard. I will say I'm Italian and have very thick dark hair so it may work better for people with lighter and finer hair. Regardless, I really recommend people look into unsponsored reviews before buying the Kenzzi.
The hair growth is totally related to hormones. I got the laser done on a office while I was on birth control, finished the treatment, loved the results A year later (still no hair) I stopped the birth control and a couple of months after that my hair started to grow again I got super upset because the office treatment was expensive and that’s when I bought the Kenzi to touch up on it. It worked really well, finer hair, slower growth. Pretty happy about it 👍🏼
This is so helpful!! I finally splurged and bought this and my husband is excited. His first comment was "I WON'T HAVE BACK HAIR ANYMORE!" 😂 So we're BOTH going to use it and now I know not to be discouraged if I get results like this. So cool! Thank you both for sharing your results. 💖💖💖
Personal experience, this did not work for me, they did not honor the money back and just told me to keep using it. Also just to note I did go full level 5 and went over an area at least 3 times. I have had professional laser on several other areas and while much more expensive I have lasting results from professional areas. Please understand that IPL is not the same as laser and is less effective. Not hating on anyone, except maybe Kenzie for not honoring money back. Buy at your own risk.
I have a Braun IPL device. Worked very well on my legs and bikini line but, besides a small patch on my left arm pit, it never worked on my underarms. I used it well past 12 weeks. My best guess of why it failed is because of deodorant buildup. I would suggest that people exfoliate beforehand and maybe even do a clay mask beforehand to get rid of that buildup to see if they get better results
@@breannag9066 pro 5 pl5124. I wouldn't recommend getting it from where I got it which is Current Body even though it was a good deal. Not sure if I got a faulty product but it quit working after a few weeks. But while it was working it was working well
I have the Braun Pro 3 and am having the same issue! Results on my legs and bikini line, but not underarms. I’ve used clarifying shampoo (Kristen Ess) to remove buildup beforehand (randomly discovered that works really well on deodorant buildup). I’ve wondered if it’s because the skin under my arms is a little darker.
As soon as I finally start my full-time job, an IPL device will be one of the first purchases. I have extremely pale skin and dark brown hair, so I don’t think there will be any issues of it not working. However, I have already decided that I will go with either Philips or Braun, as I simply trust these brands’ quality more. I’ve also heard that Kenzzi simply slaps their logo on devices that can be bulk ordered on Alibaba for like 50 bucks. Which is not to say that they don’t work, but I don’t want to support a brand that makes profit on marking up a cheap device and selling it as their own. At least with Braun and Philips I know there will have been some in-house R&D. Additionally, I won’t have to deal with shipping a device from another continent and risking customs issues.
I have been using mine for a while and I've had great results! I didn't have any prior lazer hair treatments done either and it still worked great! I've gotten a little lazy with it recently but need to get back into it. I also need to start doing my legs since summer is almost right around the corner!
I 've had a bad experience with Kenzzi as well. It took over 2 months to deliver, Support was impossible to get in touch with and horrible with answering, and I'm now into week 4 and see NO difference at all at this point...
What a sight for sore eyes. I feel like it's been so long since I've seen you two goofing off next to each other ^^ Also, every time you make a Kenzzi video, I'm always debating whether or not to buy one, so I might actually give it a go

Alright. You have finally talked me into this. I just made my purchase. I've wanted to do laser hair removal for years but never wanted to spend so much on it. This is a lot cheaper and it gives me something useful to spend that stimulus money on.
I bought a Kenzzi with your code and lemme tell you...I love it. I have my 5th treatment tomorrow and I see about 1/4 of my hair gone with the rest of it being so much finer and growing so much slower. I went a full week without shaving this week and I barely have any hair growth on my legs. Just need to shave my underarms once a week. And the V hair is SOOOO MUCH THINNER. It’s insane 😭😭 thank you for the recommendation
I love my Kenzzi but warning for using it on your face...I used it above my lip and experiences some skin darkening (I assumed this happened due to the combo of Kenzzi and sun exposure but I did make sure to always use sunscreen)....it gave me a bit of a shadow mustache, not cute lol. It works best on my legs and its helping under my arms but the results are slower there.
Kenzzi works great. I just wish I could be persistent with it because I do see results. My legs are just how you described. Thinner hair and bald spots. Arm pit hair seems like it grows in way slower.
Kayley, I love them clear containers in your background. I’ve been looking for something like that for my makeup and hair accessories. Can you do a video on your tool and accessory storage and organization?
So fun story: I've done laser hair removal professionally on my face, neck, underarms. Well . . . One thing they don't tell you is there is a chance it can grow back and so much darker! It wasn't until I found an electrolysis that I was told this. So I will never do anything else to my face again. It was horrible. So just be careful with the face areas lol
Thank you for saying that we can talk to Kenzi. I tried doing my legs but had a bad reaction, like ingrown hairs/lumpy bite looking things and just had to stop but I will contact Kenzi and ask. I've also been using it on my husbands back hair, his request not mine. Thanks Kayley and Anna-Laura.
Were you able to get in touch w/ Kenzzi? The main reason I'm deciding not to go with the brand is that there are heaps of reviews on Reddit and comments on RU-vid and especially IG saying that their customer service is atrocious (I'm guessing that their reps prioritize influencers). Curious about your experience?

I get professional laser hair removal with the YAG and Lase, and the nurse told me that light can actually stimulate hair growth if you do it too much. Which is why they only do “touch ups” after the first 4 sessions. To target what’s still there and not stimulate hair where it was gone. 🤷🏻♀️
Hello , based in your review I ordered my kenzzi, used your link and your code , received my ipl machine 3 days ago , it keeps blinking green light and it won’t work , i emailed kenzzi but no reply, i feel so upset, I don’t know what to do , i saved up for a while to be able to buy it 💔
Regular laser hair removal was a mixed bag because of my hormone issues. I've been tempted to try this and finally have pulled the trigger. I'm super pale with dark body hair so I'm hoping it will help. I have hair on my face because of a hormone issue (PCOS) and have tried almost everything to remove it. Is $200 a lot to waste if it doesn't work? Yes. But what if it does work and it's only $200 to do any body part from here on out? I'm taking the risk! I hope it works for me =/
I have PCOS and hirsutism as well so I feel you 100%. I also have *extremely* pale skin and coarse, dark, dense body hair. I hope that it works out for you. I'm going to give at home IPL treatments a try as well 🤞
IPL treatments (both at home and in office) are ineffective on blonde hair follicles b/c the light must be absorbed by pigment in the hair to damage/destroy the follice. Most IPL devices have charts on their websites or product inserts showing which skintones (Fitzpatrick skin phototypes) and hair pigment types will benefit.
I bought a different brand, the Silk'n, and have been using it off and on for a yearish.... Their settings chart said I should use settings 1-3 out of 5. Using setting 2 once a week was starting to feel VERY warm, so I took it down to 1 once a week and that felt comfortable. But then I put the box away somewhere, it got buried, and I didn't use it for a while. I still noticed that both leg and armpit hair was growing back slower and not as thickly. If I don't shave for a week, I'm not a hairy beast anymore. Leg hair, definitely, is more noticeable in that, though. I had moved to using setting 2 every 2 weeks, and that was comfortable, but because I've spent so many weeks not using it, I'm just impatient to get this hair gone now. 😂 Trying to do it every week again. But I never knew that it should be safe to go over an area more than once in a session. I'm gonna start doing that with the pits. Summer's slowly arriving, but my pits will never see the sun anyway! 😂 My legs will.
I had the same thing happen as Anna Laura, my legs are doing fantastic, but my armpits are not taking as well, almost no difference. I will heed her suggestion and increase the number of passes I make on it, and maybe start using it on my armpits twice a week to see if that gets any better!!! :)
Ok FYI before y’all buy it, if you take any type of meds containing Acetaminophen it’s best you a Ask your doctor if you can use it. Otherwise you’ll send money on an item that’s probably great but you’re not able to use it! Wish any of the RU-vidrs promoting this at home IPL would’ve disclosed that part
You need to shave to use this device (no waxing) so I would say that if you get ingrown hairs from shaving, that would continue to happen using this device. Or at least, that’s been my experience. The ingrown hairs are my reason for using the Kenzie in the first place because that pain is so ridiculous! I’ve been inconsistent with using it because of the ingrown hair issue, but I think I’m seeing some reduction in re-growth so maaaybe this is the solution I’m seeking.
Exfoliating helps minimize the chances of ingrown hairs. I've also found that using a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar on the shaved address right after shaving reduces ingrown hairs. It'll sting a bit but avoiding ingrown hairs makes it worth it.
Would you try the Microdermabrasion handset? This product seems right up my alley and wondering if the Microdermabrasion handset would be worth it too.
Just got mine in the mail and looking forward to seeing how it goes! My roommate and I will both be trying it, which should be interesting since we are not the same skin/hair type.

Aloha, I've found your channel in the last week and am catching up on a lot of great info and reviews. I appreciate the hair tool ranking vids, and hair hacks. But I found you from the target custom shampoo video. Tried searching your channel for a video on heat protectants and search didn't bring one up. Could you link me a vid or perhaps do one if there isn't one? What ingredients should I look for? Are all of them fine and you just need to figure out your scent preference?? (I love the smell of biolage, but am currently using redken pillow proof blow dry cream on hair dressers recommendation) I almost used it up and am wondering if I should repurchase or try something else?? Be careful using it above the jawline! The light is really harmful for your eyes. Definitely recommend getting some laser protection glasses when treating the face.
After you shave and used the kenzzi, did you wait the full week before you shaved again right before doing another treatment? Or did you continue shaving like normal throughout the week?
can we do this while i get in office laser hair removal too? i dont trust to ask my laser hair technician cause i think she'll advice me against it so i have to come in for in office more
I've been using it for 6 weeks and it depends on the level you put it on. The higher levels do give a little shock feeling but it's not bad at all. I've also found that if you go over an ingrown hair, mole, or pimple by accident it stings a little more. Definitely not as painful as waxing or epilating!
could you do a video on how to hide bangs? i recently got bangs and they were cut shorter than i expected. i really want to grow them out but bobby-pins just aren’t cutting it! thanks!!
either a headband or those one Bobby pins from Sally’s that grip extra well, regular Bobby pins won’t work on short bangs- I know this always happens to me to I use the grippy pins from Sally’s I always have them on hand - lol
