@@flyingmonkeys9774 Hi, I think I did a specific tutorial about that in the Mr Carve M1 video but if you want more specific can you look for a tutorial on RU-vid? :DD
I personally can't justify upgrading from my £609 LP pro1 (deluxe kit) because of the differences in price ($1899 just the engraver) compared to similarly powered engravers at a fraction of the cost, like the XTool pro range or Atomstack engravers. Especially when factoring in the cost of all the additional and some essential accessories one requires. This product's only fundamental advantage (like it's predecessors) is the portability. The effectively small 'static' engraving area is also a major factor, because anything larger will require the purchasing the 'optional' powered accessories. In conclusion, I cannot fault the product range for it's amazing build quality and again I'll mention how portable their entire range is. but this is another beautifully made product for the DIY enthusiasts, with a substantial reserve of cash to spend on an (all be it admittedly) 'above normal par' consumer-grade laser engraver product. This is of course my humble opinion, I could be wrong. 😉 (Maybe I just haven't got that kind of spare cash laying around).
I was just a bit too late. I was actually looking for the Mr. Carve video and stumbled upon this beautiful thing. I was all ready to go for the Kickstarter, but then I read up and found it ended 5 days earlier.
I want to know if it does engrave deep or if it only does marking. I am interested in an engraving machine that does a great job with depth. Thanks for the answer.
Hope now I can make stamp (using photosensitive rubber) and cut it in one go. Before I need to cut using hot wire manually (to seal the edge too, so it won’t absorb ink and ruin the stamp with bleeding edge).
The crowdfunding campaign will end in two days! I seriously doubt there will be at this low price EVER! GO GO GO, it's your only last chance! laserpecker-4-dual-laser.kckb.st/samiluo
@Jake Razmataz not high at all. I got the premium bundle based on this guy's video. Pretty sure it was 1700? It was in a weird currency and I didn't do the conversion.
Hi Sami, RU-vid won’t auto-use timestamps from the description unless you start with a 0:00 timestamp. Could you please add that? That way the time stamps will appear in the video as well :)
Far as I can see here, the main "upgrade" this offers is slick advertising. Costs too much for what it offers, despite the motivational music and seductive ad work.
I have problems with the fact, that established corporations soource out their costs for rnd out to kickstarter. This is not how this works, gentlemen! What's next? NVIDIA or Intel starting kickstarter campaigns for the next product?
Don’t own an engraver yet. Seems like a good one to start. Will it engrave the metal water bottles that are coated? Like a Yeti powder coated water bottle?
Yes it will, I have the laser pecker 2 and it works great, I just finished laser engraving into a hydro flask. Making customs for the nephews and nieces 👌🏼
Get the LaserPecker 4 from its official Amazon page: amzn.to/3ZHHgHZ or its official site: www.laserpecker.net/products/laserpecker-4?ref=OJZFnF5YK_8fhf.
If I had the money to buy a laser this would probably be the one, unfortunately as I was ripped off by one company a couple of years ago and will, never see what I paid for, I am reluctant to spend that kind of money ever again on KS. So unfortunately, I would rather pay the full retail price and get what I paid for than get ripped off again. It certainly looks impressive though. Have a good Valentines Day.
Sami...can you hook up your laptop to the lazerpecker 4? I think thats what the USB connection is for yes? Please let me know we will buy 2 units if we can use a computer ( not a cell phone) to control / send images- Thanks!
Hello, thank you for this great review. I don't find a Clear answer, do you know if we can use the new rotary extension from LP4 on a LP2? Thanks a lot for your feedback!
@@badgerwatkins Sorry I just confirmed with LaserPecker official again, seems it can't be compatible. LP4 needs 24v, while the previous power bank is only 12v
@@SamiLuo Thank you for the quick reply! Do you know what’s the laser power? I bought Mr Carve M1 Pro with 10W power and it couldn’t engrave on my gold plated silver jewelry 😢
Thanks for the review. Would you say these are good for light/beginner commercial use? I have a LP1 Pro just to familiarize myself with the tech and have backed the Kickstarter for the LP4.
Yes, absolutely. The best part for the LP 4 is it comes with an intuitive App and you can basically do everything there. I've reviewed many others and they all have to connect to a computer and adjust this and that, lots of hassle
Hi we first designed all the letters and then set parameters for each based on the cube material and then previewed the printing area to make sure it would engrave properly, then the LP4 would automatically switch between 450nm and 1064nm laser to engrave at one pass. :D
@@SamiLuo Hi, thanks for answering. But the focus of my question is how you tell the LP4 to engrave at different positions. How does the LP4 know, where the different parts are positioned?
@SamiLuo, on black anodized aluminum, say with about 0.002" thick anodizing, would I be able to penetrate the anodizing and get an additional 0.001"-0.002" into the underlying aluminum? This is an important legal standard for NFA engravings I wish to be able to satisfy easily at home.
Hi Great Review - I have pledged for the full set = 4 + Rotary + slider. What is the accessory that you show at 7:19 crawling along for a big engrave - I don't see this in the list of accessories?
Hi, thanks for the video. If you want to put up a small business but you are budget restricted, what version of laser pecker can you recommend in terms of quality and efficiency of work?.. hope you will find my comment.. thanks in advance..new subscriber here..
Thanks for asking. I don't know what engraving size and what main material you want to do for your business though, if mostly for normal things like wood or leather then I would say the first Laserpecker generation is good enough :DDD
very very helpful! Do you happen to know if it can engrave different layers within glass or crystal? meaning, can it engrave within the middle of the crystal?
hmmm it's made of vulcanized rubber right? that should be tricky... but i have never tried that material, you can ask this in the official laserpecker group to see if someone happened to try that for u
Hello. Hope you can help me by answering a question. When you engrave the ring inside, I noticed that you did not center the text, was this a mistake, or is it impossible to center the text do to the angle?
Hi, thanks for commenting. Actually I also noticed that, it can do perfect engraving for large sized rings, but not that good for extremely small sized ring but sorry I don't have time to test it carefully at the moment but I have forwarded your question to the official LaserPecker team, would you mind to join their official group and ask the official to test for you? Here is the group facebook.com/groups/1239220466858169
Do you know if this will engrave part numbers in steel parts? We currently pay another shop to do this to our manufactured aluminum and tool steel parts. Please help . Looking to buy one ASAP if it can. I know you mentioned stainless steel but we’re engraving plane steel. Thanks in advanced
Hi yes, it would be no problem at all, you can use the 1064nm laser for the plane steel :DD this is what sets it different from that 450nm, which only works for 304 stainless steel .. :DDDD
Thanks for asking... Honestly if you want the best metal and plastic engraving, then I think the Mr Carve M1 is still the best portable one on the market today, but if you want an all-in-one material engraving, then go to the LaserPecker 4.
Might be kind of a dumb question for you, but if you were to get a laser engraver with the proper ventilation and enclosure for it, would I be able to leave it unattended in my garage while I work on other things inside? I would really like to get one of these but if I need to be present at all times it’s running I’m not sure it’s for me. I just can’t spend hours a day attending to it just to monitor it. Maybe I could install a smoke detector like you have? Please let me know your thoughts on this, thanks!
Hi, thanks for asking. That's actually a very good question because everyone wants to use a machine in a safe and sound way! You can leave it unattended without worry, you don't have to spend hours being aside. I showed it has several safety measures at 10:50 like when it detects shield off or tilting it will stop automatically :DD
What an irresponsible responds. You don't leave a laser unattended. Especially when you work on organics, like wood. A fire can start in a couple seconds.
It's easy. I've got to say LaserPecker is the easiest laser engraer I've reviewed, their App is crazy good. You don't even have to connect to computer to use it, which is impossible for many other coreXY laser engravers.
Hi, just having problem with my laser pecker 3 with green/red light keep flashing and showing that Bluetooth in abnormal connection. Any solution for this?
WHY CANT LASER PECKER MAKE A METAL LASER ENGRAVER/CUTTER THAT IS COMPACK AND SIZE OF LASER PECKER 1. IMAGE A FIBRE LASER THAT IS SMALL AND AFFORDABLE LIKE THE LASERPECKER 1. WHERE U CAN SHOVE IN YOUR BAG AND TRAVEL WITH. Engraving or CUTTING ON METAL ITEMS. LIKE METAL KEYCHAINS/KNIVES/PENDANT ETC.
