Watched this briefing video so many times that when my friends and me go in to the arena at a quiet time we don't have to watch it but if there are more people in the briefing room we have to help others
Welcome to the ultimate laser tag experience, brought to you by LaserTron! WARNING: LASER TAG IS AN EXCITING AND PHYSICALLY DEMANDING GAME!! To participate in this game, all players must have agreed to the rules of the center as well as approved the acknowledgment and release form. Those with the following medical conditions should exercise caution when playing: Asthma Heart Problems Back Problems Effected by Epileptic Seizures A History of Joint Dislocation Women Who May be Pregnant or Anyone With a Pre-existing Condition That May Be Aggravated. Now let's take a detailed look at your LaserTron Vest and Phaser features: The vest has four sensor areas where you can be tagged and where you will try to tag your opponents. The front, back, left and right shoulders. The phaser has three additional sensor areas, the front, left, and right side of the phaser. After a successful tag, a mini burst of light will be admitted from your opponents sensor area, and your vest will say "GREAT TAG". However, if you are tagged, your vest will vibrate and make this sound, "PCHOO". So if this happens to you, find someplace to hide quick. On the front of your vest is your LED read-out. During the game, your LED read-out will display your current score. When you're issued your vest, slip it over your head making sure that your display and phaser is in-front. Next, attach the side buckles and pull the side straps to secure the vest to your body. Your LaserTron Phaser is attached to your vest. To activate the phaser, the left or right button must be pressed in and the trigger must be pulled to emit a laser pulse. "PYOOM". To activate the rapid fire feature, both the left and right buttons must be pressed in and the trigger must be pulled to enable the rapid fire feature. "PYOOMPYOOMPYOOMPYOOMPYOOMPYOOMPYOOM". Remember, in order to activate you phaser, the left or right button must be engaged at all times, and the trigger must be pulled to emit a single laser pulse. "INTENSEPYOOM". Now let's take a detailed look at your playing arena and today's game format: The arena is multi-leveled and shaped like a rectangle. This is the upper level *shows upper level*, and this is the lower level *shows lower level* . Today you will be playing the LaserTron multi-level sport game format. Players are divided into two teams. Each team has its own home base area. The scoring zones sensors are located here, *shows where the scoring zone sensors are located*, and the player recharges are here, *shows where the player recharges are located*. The objective of the game is to offensively work with your teammates to score bonus points by tagging the opposing teams' scoring zone's sensor, ("THE BASE UNDER ATTACK!") as well as defending your own scoring zone from the opposing team. If at any time you aren't deactivated or you run out of laser pulses, simply return to your home base recharger to instantly reactivate your vest. Finally, no dangerous gameplay is allowed! You must follow these rules: Walk at All Times Do Not Climb Do Not Lie Down Refrain From Any Contact From Other Players by Remaining Five Feet Away When Tagging Opposing Players Do Not Chew Gum Refrain From Vulgar Language and Obey Your Referees. Now your referee will explain the highlights of today's game format. Good luck, have fun, and enjoy your LaserTron experience!!
I think I used to play this version of Laser Tag back in my early childhood days at Craig's Cruisers. I was afraid of it until 2015, where it was changed a bit. 😂 It was changed again in 2018 folllwing its expansion and made better than ever!
Most places don't even use the full video - this version is designed specifically for the company owned locations. We have a DVD copy that omits the part about the arena.
