If they have a key, they would just have to get in like it's their car and drive away calmly. As long as they don't have to actually break in and aren't dressed like a car thief, I bet you most people probably won't pay enough attention to notice. Lot's of people that aren't cops are probably in and out of the station every day and Lassiter doesn't drive a black & white cruiser.

he did, in one of the first episodes, drunkenly admit that Shawn is an amazing detective. As well as commend his shooting in the episode where Shawn was shot and put in a car trunk (I believe it's called orange come or something)

I find it funny how Lassiter expresses how much of an annoyance Shawn and Gus are but is still talking to them about seminar like an older brother talking about how cool something is.

@@robertha8555 Yeah, that was him. Dobson was a throwaway name but it was used so often it become a joke in the fanbase. The writers put it in the finale as a gag--the camera slowly pans over to him for the face reveal.

One thing I never understood was why in the first episode lassie was sleeping with his partner who was recast but he was so sad his wife was leaving the second she was gone he technically committed adultery because he was married and no one ever addressed that

Lassiter and his wife were still married but separated. It's literally stated in the first episode they'd been separated for like six months (though we learn later in the season that it's really been more like 2 years and he'd apparently tried everything to get the marriage back together prior). So... it's not adultery or cheating if you're separated. The girlfriend was transferred somewhere else after the relationship was outed(likely it was probably against protocol). Shawn mentions it to Juliet sometime in the first season.

Can someone help me find an episode of Psych? All I remember is that Shawn was like being held captive in someone's house I think (it's not Shawn takes a shot in the dark) and Gus figures out Shawn is in danger because Shawn didn't make a joke on the phone.
