@Soflo Sports man that's nothing but facts. I used to hate this team back then but man I'd be lying if I said this wasn't the most hype Duo in NBA history.
Those threes over Pierce and the steal, the dunk and the headshaking celebration give me goosebumps every time. Too bad I hated the Heat that year, but then I loved them. This is the best era in basketball history, the big three era. They had fun in the court and they showed it. They were just so smooth. How much I’d pay to go back to that day. Time flies
For sure that Wade offensive foul call was when the game ended if only Bron played like himself in the finals he would probably have more rings now who knows...
LeBron’s brain fart in the Finals was kind of shocking, bc he had made so many clutch plays against Boston and Chicago in the previous rounds. After going up 2-1 against Dallas even without LBJ’s best play, it felt like Miami gave away that title
No man. You need to realize that THIS was Lebron's championship. Beating the Celtics was the monkey he had to get off his back first. He was wasn't ready to win it all in 2011.
@@imprinceshandy yup. In part of officiating catering Lebron led teams. C's outplayed Heat. Games 2, 3, 4 & 5. If officiating was called correctly. Celtics should've won the series. However, to your point Lebron led teams have beaten Pierce led squads since 2011. Prime Pierce led teams prior to 2011 beaten Lebron. I really don't see why Pierce "hates' on Lebron every chance he gets. When Pierce won the battleground in his prime.
This was my favorite rivalry. I was born in ‘93 so I cant relate to more experienced nba fan who would argue BOS-LA was a better rivalry, but these battles between lebron and BOS are so underrated historically (even though it was only 2 seasons. In 10’-11’ & 11’-12, KG and PP truly wanted to ruin lebrons career. I think the 2012 eastern conference finals is the best series all time. There was no fake hated there. Lebron was never challenged as much on a court than in these games. That’s all
Man I used to root for those Boston teams. Raptors weren't making the playoffs and Miami had taken Bosh so I rooted for the other team when Heat played. Also I hate Lakers fans so I always rooted for y'all in finals. I remember these series. It's the way of the western conference. The bad boy pistons had to go through the 80s Celtics and they later were the obstacle for the 90s Bulls. LeBron's biggest obstacle was the Celtics and he learned alot in those series. He later on stood as an obstacle against the Raptors as they got better each year and they won it all the year he missed the playoffs. The Bucks have consistently beaten the Raptors on the regular season but are yet to beat them in a playoff series. I'd say this is their big obstacle as is tradition in the western conference. if they can beat the Raptors they can win it all. Can they beat the Raptors tho? Don't forget Raptors were better than Cavs in the regular season but couldn't beat them in the playoffs.
This nba during heat big 3 era was crazy good with actual defense...Bulls, Hawks,Pacers and the celtics wanted lebrons head. The west were stacked as well.
it's crazy how well lebron played against the Bulls and Celtics and then how badly he played against the mavs. he could've won that series so disappointing.
Yeah, he played pretty bad against the mavs. But one thing I don't understand was why his usage rate dropped quite a lot in comparison to the celtics and bulls series. He had an acceptable field goal percentage. The coach just suddenly don't run plays around him like he did before. That confuses me.
Lakers when they are good is nothing compared. Staples Center explodes. Look up Robert Horry's shot in the 2002 wcf. The audio was distorting with how loud it got in Staples
After the devonte west call (it was a wade flop but lol) the lebron yelling gave me chills, and everytime i rewatch this it STILL gives me chills lol. I miss these days..
I was a few years outta high school and as a die hard Celts fan this shit killed me 💯 😂 and the next year when they went 7 games man and the Celts was up 3-2 on that dagger 3
just thisguy Age? KG was 35 Paul 33 Nothing to do with age Heat was a better team LeBron is 35 now and still at the top of his game, work effort not age
Giovanni Stephon KG was 3 or 4 years over the hill he already been in the league like 15 years that’s old esp for a post player pierce was closer to his prime and when he was younger he could match lebron
Francis Villamor this man in his fourth prime now u had all hail king James the 1st time lebron was in Cleveland lebron the villain when he was in Miami then the king returns his 2nd time in Cleveland now it’s La bron he dnt get hurt I love bron watch these highlight at work all night💪🏿
Scoring the game’s last 10 points on Pierce to finish off Boston and forcing Pierce to commit 2 turnovers in the closing minutes. Lebron absolutely annihilated Pierce in this game. That’s why Pierce is so salty till today. XD
Ryan Wan and this is not the only year he made pierce too xD. He could not defend any of 2012 Lebron. Lebron also was a pain in the ass for celtics by himself at the playoffs back earlier when he was a cavalier. Totally agree. I saw a face of pure desperation on Pierce’s face all those years as well as this video. It was like “hes too good man, i cant even do anything”. He obviously hates lebron xD
+Plain and Simple it's not hate it's simple Lebron was just a different player in Miami. The chemistry , the brotherhood the heat had is something the cavs don't have however I will say talent wise the cavs are superior but if they had the chemistry the heat did the league should be scared
Long ago in 2011, I loved the Celtics!!!So then can the conversation to go watch them!!! I was excited to be able to finally go watch one, but I live in Louisiana, it was the playoffs, and I wanted to see them at home!!! So that was going to be excpensive!!! But my dad said that would be fine. but then the next day he had told me that instead of going to game 3 in boston, we were going to Miami! I was clearly pissed off, mostly because it was not at home and it was not because of financial reasons, he just said "it would be a lot more fun to go watch it in Miami" so I said I guess so, mostly because that he had already bought the tickets, so me, my dad, and my brother had took of in a jet to go see it. The Celtics were up the whole game, I was the only bitch in the whole stadium screaming for the Celtics, they had begun to fall apart, the heat won and I cried my ass off at the end while everyone was cheering the heat on, now I'm scarred 1 like = 1 prayer
I’ll get you banned from RU-vid for life without another account being created for making fun of him when you should blame Rajon Rondo for making him leave the team after the 2012 season
Damn. He did it all on paul pierce, shoot 3's over pierce, drive on pierce, lockdown pierce, steal on pierce. I won't be surprice if pierce would hate lebron. But it's just business man.
Probably the last year that the East was the side with the dominant teams.Celtics,Bulls,Heat,Nets were powerhouses. The West only had the Mavs and Spurs.
True, one of my favourites too but I agree. Totally cocky and arrogant in 2011, the finals was some good karma for him. He came back to himself in 2012 IMO.
i love how paul pierce reacts when lebron shoots the 3 over him at 5:37. even watches the replay and is laughing at himself. then realizes the camera is lookin right at him....
