best piece of advice ben needs, is keep your elbows tucked close to your ribs. when you punch. when you guard, when you move. always. elbows tucked tight. will make your punches more compact and direct.

The guy is such an incredible technician. Been following him since he was an amateur. I even had a scope around Kazakhstan / Kyrgyzstan boxing gyms myself because of the unique talent. Stuffed full of talent. The style he uses is actually called "The Pendulem". Most Soviet amateurs use it. Biggest issue for them is the language barrier as this makes it very difficult to promote themselves. Boxing is a popularity contest more than anything. Eubank Jr, Benn, Yarde, Garcia etc are testament to this. None of them have beaten anyone but still making truck loads. Athletes like GGG, Kovalev, Loma, Usyk and Bivol have to be pure mustard to get the exposure, kid. Absolute artists.
Love this video man thanks for this great one. Bivol is one of favourite boxers today. I just love his style it seems so awkward too fight against. He does not stay still lol always fainting, boping back and fourth. And then comes at u with these Manny Pac-Man Combos haha.What a boxer Bivol is I think he beats Beterbiev. That was so funny the other guy asking how Bivol bounces back out after putting power on the right.Im the same , its easy throwing the jab and bouncing out but as much as I try I can't throw the right and bounce back ot like that.There has got to be some knack to it and It's funny knowing I'm not the only mortal that hasn't figured it out yet.
I feel like bivol should work more on his speed with his left hook and endurance, because thats what he needs against beterbiev. his short hooks are good and fast, but sometimes on the bags his left hook seems slower.
Nice to see how loose and relaxed his body is . Body has pendulum moves using core strength instead of muscle is not diaphragm, core strength. Mayweather ,technically is the best I have seen on the heavy bag
I've never seen from Bivol body-head combo much less uppercuts in a mix. In fact he never throws uppercuts which is very strange for the fighter of his caliber
From my observation he kept it closed and relaxed at first , then he clenches as he punches.. thats how its supposed to be for better speed and more power!
