On the warm winter afternoon of January 28, 2024, ACEX 3110 & ACEX 3112 leads the ACE (Altamont Corridor Express) 49ers special train into Pleasanton station to board more San Francisco 49ers fans bound for the football game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, U.S.A. This makes today's train the last of the 2023 NFL (National Football League) season. This game (San Francisco 49ers vs. Detroit Lions) was to determine if the San Francisco 49ers are to be NFC champions and advance to the Super Bowl (Super Bowl 58).
A few hours go by and the game finishes with a victory for San Francisco as NFC champions and a ticket to Super Bowl 58 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fireworks, celebratory 49er fans and weeping lions fans make up the environment at Santa Clara/Great America station, just feet away from Levi's Stadium. Many fans board Amtrak Capitol Corridor train 746, lead by CDTX2005, bound for Sacramento, California, U.S.A. Shortly after, arrives ACE's special 49ers train to take fans eastbound to Downtown Stockton, California, U.S.A. ACEX 3307 then follows Amtrak 546 east as it departs with fans onboard.
