Excellent work on them, Goomba BF’s voice is amazing and Turmoil’s voice fits his small yet creepy appearance. Definitely one of my new favorite songs thanks to you!
Thats what kinda makes this song unbearable to listen to, in my honest opinion. Turmoil sounds like he’s gargling his spit like mouthwash, meanwhile GaloomBF has good vocals. This song is good, but the vocals make it a hit-or-miss when I listen to it.
I guess tho Starved is still a villain. Yes sure hes a Villain who cant control his urges to Eat Mobians but he still traped Mobians and chose to eat one before becoming Starved. Turmoli is Turmoli not because it chose so. It was an accident. Mario ate a Corrupted Mushroom with parts of Yoshis Code in it unknowlingly wich Twisted him to become Turmoli. He isint even a villain! An Anti hero mayby but not a Villain. Turmoli Mind is mix of Yoshis and Marios. Yoshis nature to eat its foes yet also its Loyalty + Marios Heroism and Dislike of Bowser = Turmoli a Animalistic Humanoid whos loyal and good natured but whos Nature is to eat its foes aka Marios foes aka Bowser and his Minions. Turmoli infact if it could see that BF was harmless and not connected to Bowser in anyway whould probably let him be. But thats the thing, Turmoli cant see. The Corrupted Mushroom took his eye sight away. So Turmoli just by instinct upon Detecting the presense of Gomba BF, Attacks. Bit like if you had a Blind Chameleon. Make movement near it on the ground and changes are it will use its tongue to attack the target, be it insect or your finger.

What makes this creepypasta so interesting to me is that a lot of it seems to actually be within the bounds of canon Mario lore. The only difference between Yoshi and Turmoil is that Yoshi converts his victims into eggs instead of graphically devouring them, and Turmoil is blind. Turmoil is just a combination of Mario's heroic and loyal nature combined with Yoshi's intellectual capacity and attitude. He essentially does the exact same thing Yoshi does, but the presentation is just much more graphic because he doesn't have the ability to digest animals in the same 'cleaner' way Yoshi does. This concept is really good. Edit: Here after his lore was rewritten. He's gone from one of the most creative Mario exes to one of the most generic. What a damn shame
Also, I'm pretty sure Turmoil kept the ability to talk, and only eats those who wronged him. But the football guy and Bowser are safe, they're too big to be eaten
I like how Yoshi Mario (aka Turmoli) isint a villain. More of misunderstod Anti Hero. Mario consumed a Corrupted mushroom that took an apearance of a regular mushroom however in reality contained parts of Yoshis Code. Upon eating the mushroom Mario turned into Turmoli and it gave him the powers of Yoshi (long tongue and ability consume enemies) but due to its corrupted nature it also in turn turned him blind and morphed his mind to become more like that of an animal just like Yoshis, He doesent have any ill will towards anyone else other than Bowser and his minions. Only reason he attacks Bf is because he cant see that BF isint Hostile towards him and because BF has taken a form of a gomba wich are bowsers minions. His methods are brutal but he isint doing them in evil intend. He genuently thinks hes just protecting the kingdom and being a good guy. So yeah Turmoli is combination of Marios dislike of bowser and his minions but will to do good and save everyone combined with Yoshis animalistic nature of eating those who are hostile towards it yet still being kind Hearted. In result we get TURMOLI a Animalistic Humanoid who wants to be a hero and save the kingdom by eating its enemies. So... yeah aslong as youre human and not a Gomba, Bowser, Koopa, Wiggler, etc. You and Turmoli whould get along. Last Course, Paranoia, Demise and Oh god No were my faivs from V2 Not even sure why i really like this song. I think its the Wavy Stop and start type of Rythm it has giving it a unpredictable sounding rythm mimicking Turmolis Unpredictable animalistic nature.
Idk if anyone has pointed this out, but the small detail of hearing the Yoshi bongo percussion during the song is incredibly clever, it makes this song slap even more.
This was the only song I died multiple times on in the mod other than that amazing song and beautiful vocals especially love when turmoil interrupts bf
This exe is very unique! He's like a cat. He dont bother humans or other people, but very violent to his enemies! We know that cats can be pretty violent with mouses sometimes...

Not people. Turmoil is an Anti Hero, hes mind is a mix between Marios and Yoshis due to wich hes still friendly to Humans, Yoshis and Toads. However he does still attack Minions of Bowser even if theyre not attacking him. He is Blind tho so id make it loud and clear youre not his enemy if youre near him.
I'd call him more of a cryptid than anything, like "yo there's this guy that just hangs out in a forest and just fucking eats people alive so uhhh yeah don't go there I think"

The fact that Turmoil can’t see is probably a reason why Galoomba BF is the stupidest Boyfriend yet, staring into something that could eat him in seconds but instead of running he’s going “Deh doo doo deh baa!”
Turmoil can't see, so he had to listen to the lyrics to find BF. Plus sense BF was a galoomba, Turmoil thought BF was one of Bowsers minions. Hence why Turmoil attacked.
I know Turmoil's idle pose makes him look deceptively cute, but... given that he's ever hungry and eats several enemies, as well as the fact that his eyes don't actually move, it just makes him look very disturbingly uncanny... and since he's in a horror mod, he fits like a glove. Seriously, this creature should have his own game or animation. It's an opportunity too good pass up!
His eyes are uncanny mostly because hes blind. Tho Turmoli is one of the few Marios in this mod who are not evil. Even if they apear so. Since Turmoli is in essence a Animalistic Humanoid with the powers of Yoshi. His mind is combination of Marios Heroism mixed with Yoshis nature to eat its foes yet be loyal to its friends. Mix those and you get Turmoli a Animalistic Humanoid with mind of a Animal but a Good heart unfortunaly corrupted by Yoshis want to eat and Marios dislike of Bowser causing him to want to eat Bowser and His Minions. On top of that while Yoshi could regognice people who werent mean towards it as friends by seeing they arent hostile... Turmoli is Blind. It attacks BF just because it senses a Gomba is nearby so it just lissens to where this Gombas sounds are coming from and Attacks with his long tongue.

I went through Scrubbs twitter and found some cool info about Turmoil that some people might not know, here are some facts 1. He is an antihero, he does not eat anyone that isn't a threat to him (Hence why he attacks boyfriend as a galoomba) 2. He is blind, he uses echolocation and smell to see 3. In his redesign the small glint in his eyes are his real eyes, and the rest is painted on to look more human 4. he runs on all fours at a max speed of 40mph 5. when he eats different colored shells, he gains abilities like a yoshi would (Red=Fire) (Yellow=Stomp) (Blue=Wings) 6. He can burp up Fuzzies from Yoshi's Island There is more but I just thought all these was cool
Ngl I found Turmoil to be much more terrifying than the other mod opponents, why? Because Turmoil's just a normal Mario turned feral, and it's entirely possible that you can encounter...things like this. With everyone else, they're either joke opponents or scary-looking. For the latter, I can simply reassure myself that they're not real, yet I'd still remain unsettled. But Turmoil? It's how they act, and what they DO that feels too rooted in reality. banger song though, love BF's vocals
Turmoil isn’t exactly just a feral Mario. He ate a mushroom with Yoshi’s code in it which turned him into.. that. He eats enemies just like Yoshi, but because his mouth isn’t big enough, he has to eat them piece by piece.
THIS GOES UNBELIEVABLY HARD! Especially the instrumental, I'd really like to see a seperate upload. I also love that despite the fact that this is a lesser-known OC, the game does a really good job at introducing them: It's a bug-eyed mario with gorey corpses around him and a big tongue, you don't need much more than that to understand him. Certainly better than one of the other inclusions I could name...
@@MilesZuniga-gd1zd The tanooki exe mario and company seen in Act 2 of all-stars. Their inclusion I felt very weird considering the fact that they just as easily could've been characters you've already faced off with, especially considering the speech M had in the cutscene prior about owning all of them.

I feel like its bit misleading since it makes it seem like Turmoli is Evil when He isint. Hes just a blind mix of Mario and Yoshi. Marios Heroism and Dislike of Bowser mixed with Yoshis Animalistic nature to consume its enemies and its Loyalty to its friends. Combine those and youll get Turmoli. A Humanoid Creature with good intentions and loyalty to its friends but also the Animalistic urges to Consume Bowser and his Minions. Tragic really. Especially since if Turmoli still could see he probably whoudnt try to eat BF since he could see that BF isint a Bowsers minion but allas he smells and hears a Gomba and just like a Blind Chameleon he attacks towards the noise of its prey or in Turmolis Case its Enemies.
I love how it’s depicted that Mario enemies have organs but Mario has casually jumped on millions of these things If things were super realistic in the Mario universe, most of the planet would be covered in carcasses (Edit: I forgot to put “enemies” next to the first time I mentioned Mario. Of COURSE Mario has organs…. Right?)

this song is honestly really, really fucking amazing. 1:54 i dont know if theres a specific motif here that i just dont recognize, but its heavenly also one of the most fun and snappy dodge mechanics ive ever seen, seriously this is one of the most fun songs to replay for me
I feel like it's just a familiar melody similar to Once Upon A Time from Undertale, which was used in A Fate Worse Than Death, and You Can't Run on the second last part of the song.
Of all the new songs in V2, this one is my favorite. Goomba BF’s vocals are so good especially on the “dooo” notes, and Turmoil has a simple yet creepy design and backstory that makes him stand out from the other Marios. Really love the tongue dodge mechanic too, excellent work FriedFrick & Sandi!
@@AverageTSM Not really, Turmoil is a anti-hero. All that changed about his morals is that he is more brutal, he mostly just kills bowsers minions who actively wish to hurt him. I image it be less of tea party and more of Starved watching in horror as Turmoil starts biting chunks out of Furnace.
I low-key feel bad for this exe. Like yeah it's an animal but it's still technically human and they are doing this out of hatred of the enemies and Bowser. Their minds are fused together and twisted into a mess of confusion. I don't think they are sadistic it's more if a vs prey scenario and your the food. Imagine if Mario was still in their somewhere. Now that would be depressing as fuck lol. This song gives me heavy "Please save me" and "COME HERE" vibes. It's very epic yet melancholy which I really like btw.

As someone who read the original Turmoil character art made by Scrubdubb, I was actually blown away to see that design and I immediately knew it was him.

This song kind of slipped under my ears when playing. Wasn't bad but not really memorable. Now that i'm re-listening to the OST this one is pretty good. I really like the chromatics and patterns. Also mechanic is fun
@@draw2death421 No, I mean, it’s still ill advised due to possible further code anomalies, and the fact that Yoshi, despite being a reptile, is so social is because of his almost humanoid intelligence. A Yoshi without that would likely be incredibly hostile.

For someone to have Yoshi's DNA I wanted to make a redesign for Turmoil, Keep the Eyes and no M on his hat but I decided to go farther by not being just Mario but a fusion of Mario and Yoshi like Body Horror.
He could have a Yoshi "shell" that's hard to see under his cape, splotches of sickly green skin peak out from under his clothes and maybe even some of the red spikes coming off his head, but hidden under his hat. Or Mario Oddyssy him into the body of a Yoshi.
