In today’s vlog we check out of the Anna Maria Island beach house, we didn’t want to leave, we had such a great week! Then we should our drive home and stop off at the rest stop and show you around there too! When we get home, we make dinner and then we show you our AMI haul! We got some cool souvenirs from the local shops and restaurants. We hope you had fun joining us this week at the beach! Thank you for watching and we’ll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Once my granddaughter stopped napping..I introduced a "rest period." She has to lay down with her tablet.. books.. etc. It just gives me a little break, where she isn't talking my head off.😊

I love AMI. Tim & Jenn, I’ve been watching you for what seems like forever. We lived in Jacksonville until 2011, and 💛 the parks. We moved home, out of state then, and I began watching you guys because I was so homesick for the parks. We moved back in 2021, and just bought a home 90 minutes from Universal, and couldn’t be happier. Thank you guys for giving me the motivation to get back. I hope to see you 3 in the parks sometime!

Once the afternoon nap is gone it is gone forever. Prolong it as much as you can!! My kids gave it up so young. So I just gave them "quiet time". Once in a blue moon they would fall asleep but mostly they played in their rooms. But falling asleep in the car continued until they were 6 or 7. I miss that too.

You should definitely take Jackson to see the manatees at Epcot!! They are so cute, I got to watch them eat heads of lettuce and it was truly a life highlight. 😂😂

We live in the UK and we love Florida. When we visit AMI is a must to visit. We tend to stay in Bradenton in a villa or condo and we visit AMI a lot as the beach is great and the whole vibe of the place is great. We also stop at Two Scoops for ice cream. We can't wait to return to Florida, hopefully next year. Loved the vlogs, glad you had a brilliant time. Jackson needs a slide for his pool at home I think. Best regards Susan xxxx

Haha Tim is literally me the last day of vacation, even the day leading to vacation is extremely stressful for me lol. This July my family is driving from New Jersey to Florida (18hr drive) honestly I’d prefer to just take a 2 hour flight but my dad loves a road trip haha, highways are anxiety inducing for me, I actually feel safer in a plane lol

A tip I use every time I travel- keep a small bad a drawstring or duffle with one single outfit and basic toiletries for your last day. That way luggage and everything else can be loaded up the night before and all you have is a small bag you can throw in the backseat 😉

When you travel will you share more about your stops for charging? How do you know where are charging stations? How much does it cost to travel and change your car? How long do you stop to charge? How often? I think learning more about an electric car is fascinating.

We went to Anna-Maria island once a few years ago. Stayed at Cedar cove resort. It was absolutely beautiful. My favorite beach vacation and love the island feel. Getting on the trolley and and exploring. Can't wait to go back

My husband has been visiting there with his family since the early 80s… wish we could visit more! Our last trip was august of 2021… thanks for letting us visit again through you! Try rod and reel restaurant (old school dive but great seafood) and ugly grouper… fun outdoor bar with great fish nuggets!

You should take Jackson to Crystal Rivers and book a tour to snorkel w manatees and then he can see them up close and personal! We did that a few years back and it was the best experience, see if Groupon has coupons for it!

Rest stops are your friends if you have a RV. You learn to not pass one by if you are the least bit tired. We don't use the actual facilities since we pull our little house with our own bathroom and kitchen with us. But the parking for RVs is great and it's nice to get out and walk the dog and just stretch your legs. When I drive down to FL from Ga on my own, I stop at a few as well, again, mostly to just stretch my legs. I prefer truck stops to use the bathroom, they are so much cleaner.

You should take a drive down Gulf Drive to Coquina Beach during your next stay. I know Jackson likes to collect rocks, but this beach is a great place to get seashells! If you go during low tide, you will find so many beautiful shells.

Get as close to 4 years old as you can with naps 😁 It makes a huge difference. Even if you have to change bedtime or wakeup time by an hour or so. And after 4, keep the routine of taking a break. My 4 year old doesn't always nap, but she will lay in bed and quietly play or look through books. And sometimes that time turns into a nap. Having the routine of an afternoon break is a really good habit to have. Eventually, I'm hoping she'll spend that time actually reading. Their little brains experience so much new stuff and time to decompress is really important 💗

Omg packing. My daughter & I took two young nieces to Disneyland last week, which was great but the 7yr old brought so many belongings, and we got up late the last morning, so packing was nuts. In the end we checked all the nooks & crannies, the beds, etc, and later discovered I’d left some of my own stuff in a drawer! Still waiting for it in the mail… Too funny tho.

I thought that Anna Maria Island was less than 2 hours away. I'm not sure the over 2 hour trip was the weather or construction or if I don't have that right. I plan on going in May next year for a day when when we will be in Orlando for a week. Also those pieces of jewelry are so cute

Y’all should visit john’s pass in st Pete sometime, it was my happy escape when I suffered through living in Clearwater. We need “not a cloud in the sky” shirts! Omg my husband actually liked the spicy Mountain Dew! But he is crazy with spicy things. I love biodiversity with the little yellow flowers at the rest area. Happy anniversary to you both! Sorry your vacay is ending. I always hate that day. I have been stuck in a hotel in ohio. At least it's a nice one. We had horrible storms Monday, and still no electricity. And a heat index of 110 degrees. Please pray for the elderly who are without power for air or fans. Its awful. But I was blessed enough to be able to get one of the last hotel rooms in Columbus. Drive safely. Can't wait until your next adventure.

Jackson is such a good eater! My granddaughter is one month older than Jackson and she basically eats nothing! It’s a struggle. I can count on her eating Greek yogurt and a bite or two of chicken nuggets. Maybe some cheese bread and pretzels. She won’t eat the usual Mac & cheese, pizza, spaghetti ,hamburger.. no vegetables. I hope she grows out of it! I loved seeing him eat such good stuff on this trip ☀️
