As a second born child, it’s nice to see Oliver getting to do things Jackson (unfortunately) never got to do. First borns always get all the special firsts, and second born kids quite often don’t get the same. So Oliver getting to do some special things is really nice to see!

Thank you so much for the videos. One of my dogs lost their battle to cancer over the weekend and your videos have helped so much. I've been following you guys for awhile now and so even though we've never met, it's familiar... It's comforting.... like long lost friends....So thank you for sharing so much of yourselves with all of us.

Hey Trackers - I’m from St. Croix USVI and can explain the dates on your t-shirts. 1493 is when Christopher Columbus landed in the islands and 1917 is when Denmark sold the islands to the U.S. and they became a U.S. territory. Hope that helps. Love your videos!

My first and only Disney cruise was the Dream and it was spring break 2012. I was 16 years old & in 11th grade, but I cried the whole debarkation process and the bus ride to MCO and in the airport and the whole flight home. I was just so sad to leave the cruise (and we had 3 days in the Disney parks before the cruise, too) it was just the best vacation with my sister and cousins. We might have had some dysfunctional family quarrels (as any family would when the parents drop thousands of dollars on an 8 day vacation) but it was probably one of the best weeks we spent as a family. Returning to school after spring break was the absolute worst. I wrote a letter to Disney complimenting our amazing wait staff and room attendants and all the crew members we met, and I was happily surprised to receive a detailed letter from Disney thanking me for taking the time to write a nice letter! I still have it 12 years later.

Thats a sweet story it reminds me of our first Disney vacations, we took our niece in 2018 and we got hooked on Disney Cruises and Disney World trips. Sadly I lost the good job I had back in 2022 so I can’t afford to go right now but I’m working on getting us back on a Disney Cruise, we wanna try the new ships.

I did a Mediterranean cruise in 2018. It was the best thing ever. My favorite excursion was when we went to Gibraltar and did the St. Michael's Cave and the Top of the Rock. It was so incredible! You could see Morocco from up there!

Favorite cruise: northern Europe, Baltic area. Sweden, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Russia (but that's out now) and Estonia. Pretty scenery, lots of history. My 2nd, closer to home cruise: Alaska with a land tour attached: Denali, sled dogs, beautiful lakes, streams and mountains. Of course, salmon, moose, Cariboo, dolphins, whales, totem polls, glaciers, and cute Alaskan towns.

The reason for one of the St. Thomas shirts saying 1493 was that's when Christopher Columbus first sighted the island on his second voyage. It wasn't until 1917 that the St. Thomas Island along with the two others were purchased by the United States of America. So those t-shirt designs are alluding to both dates. Per the St. Thomas website St. Thomas was officially established as a Danish colony in 1672.

Alaska is my all-time favorite! It's so beautiful. There are all sorts of little islands and amazing wildlife to see. My favorite excursion was in Juneau, A hydrofoil that goes crazy fast to places their spotters send them. I got to see a mega pod of orcas, about 100 whales. The wildlife expert nearly lost her mind over it all... there was a pair mating next to the boat. The ships get to go to Glacier Bay or some other glacier and they are beautiful. The weather is unpredictable so layers are your best bet.

Make sure to wash your rice before you cook it. It take off all the starch and just makes the rice taste better. It usually takes about 3 washes.

I've never rinsed rice and it tastes fine.

@@kathymcel it does taste fine but when you wash all that starch off it don’t bubble up like it usually does without it being washed. I also soak mine for about 20 mins in the rice cooker pot, then cook it. It makes it more tender.

@kellywood288 actually I read an article that says to rinse to remove microplastics and arsenic! Oh my... but you'll be rinsing out other nutrients at the same time. Maybe I'll skip the rice.

My family's favorite place to cruise is Aruba, though we went to Alaska last year & it was probably the most beautiful place we have cruised to. My favorite excursions were doing an up close glacier tour in Alaska & zip lining in the rainforest in the Dominican Republic. I've never been on a Disney cruise but I always enjoy seeing y'alls adventures. Glad you had fun!

We love sailing anytime Castaway is on the itinerary!! Our favorite ship is the Dream! And we loved our Atlantis Aquarium expedition and the zoo in the Bahamas. (We really enjoyed all your videos! Makes us miss the Cruise Line less in between our sailings!)

We loved cruising to Jamaica on Royal Caribbean. We did dunes river falls and then they took us on a tour of the rainforest! Soooo cool and got to see a lot of different parts of the island. Jamaica 🇯🇲 has its own vibe💚💛❤️

We did the Disney Transatlantic from Southampton to NYC back in September, and our favorite Port was Bermuda by far!! We did a swim with the dolphins excursion, and it was AMAZING!! It was a really big thing I got to cross of my bucket list!

I have the same rice cooker! I use sushi rice and it comes out perfect every time. Still haven't used the Timer or the porridge settings, but I have been wanting to for oatmeal.

We have the same rice cooker and it does an amazing job! Throw a tomato in there (whole in the middle of the pot) and after it finishes cooking you can just use the little paddle spoon to chop it up and it's almost like Spanish rice!

Japanese rice cookers are awesome. I just made an one pot meal tonight in my rice cooker. My kids' favorite is 2 cups of rice, add the water to the right level, then add olive oil, salt and pepper. A tomato - cut into wedges, 1/4c chopped carrots, green onions, garlic, 1/4 c cooked ground meat. Season with oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce. Basically whatever they feel like. Like make sure the veggies are chopped small.

We have done DCL Western, Eastern, Southern Caribbean, Alaska, and Mediterranean cruises . Each one has their own favorite excursions because you can’t really compare those different places because they are all so different except the Caribbean cruises are similar experiences. Look into the 10 night Southern Caribbean I have a feeling you would love it because you liked this cruise so much. 🏝️

My favorite is Norweigan. However I did a Princess cruise with my Grammy and her sister, and my sister. We called it the sister cruise! We did an excursion in Costa Maya. So much fun! We swam we dolphins, we walked through the zoo part of that park, and did a tequila tasting.

We haven’t been on a Disney cruise yet(thinking about going next year, so your videos have been super helpful), but so far my favorite cruise has been the Southern Caribbean. My favorite excursion was probably in St Lucia, we took a semi private tour of the island and ended at a beach for a little while. It is so beautiful there, and the tour guide actually took us to his mom’s house for an authentic brunch. So neat!

We use our rice cooker for quinoa all the time. Just do 1 cup dry quinoa for 2 cups of water. If your cooker can handle it, 2 cups dry quinoa, 4 cups water. Perfect ever time.

I love my rice cooker - we have the same one! I had to get one after we moved back to the US from Japan - we got so used to eating rice all the time there haha. Omg yesss the embroidered shirt!!! I definitely had a lot of those as a 90s kid. In fact, I think I *might* still have an embroidered shirt from the Bahamas from our 90s Disney cruise somewhere in storage. Good times 😊

This New Yorker can confirm that Florida water is bad! We also bought the (Star Wars) cooler with bottles of water because it was a great deal….we gifted the cooler to a family that had a lot of Star Wars decorations on their door….hope they liked it!

Best excursion was on the Disney Wonder last year .. sailed to Alaska .. the most spectacular place to visit …I did an off ship viewing of the glacier! Highly recommend !

I like these cruise round up videos. My favorite cruise destination will always be Tahiti. Been twice and want to go again asap. Great excursions there were swimming with sharks (Black Tips) and the drift snorkel in Bora Bora.

Looked like a great cruise! Tell Jackson that I cry when vacation is over too! It’s ok. Tim, maybe Jackson is going through the fearful 4 stage? It’s very normal for 4 yo kids to not do things that they did when they were younger, especially when someone asks them to try it. It’s all part of the progression of things and learning about what you can and can’t control in this world. He is such a smart little guy too! Thanks so much!

The DCL Alaska 9 night was our favorite! I would wait until your kiddos are a little older bc of the time change and age requirement of many excursions! My daughter loved panning for gold with Donald! My favorite excursion was whale watching in Juneau!!!!
