Here is one of the final walk-throughs of AMC’s The Walking Dead Attraction as the year-round haunt closed its doors to the general public for the last time on March 3, 2020. #UniversalStudiosHollywood #TheWalkingDead #InsideUniversal
I'm going to miss this. I really enjoyed this attraction. I remember going thru this and two of the performers paid real close attention to me. Seriously I went thru it solo, there was no group of people in front of me and there was no group behind me. It was just me and the two performers. One of them was in front of me and had me walking backwards towards the room's exit and when I turned around, I saw that there was another one directly behind me. To those two performers, thanks for that fun memory- you both made my day during my visit.
Oh wow, last day?! Glad I got to experience it then. Although it was before I became a TWD fan, so I didn't fully appreciate it. Wonder what'll replace it.
Nothing right now besides a possible extend waiting area for the Secret Life of Pets ride that opening up at the end of the month. It will (possibly) be back for Halloween Horrors Night.
i think the issue with this maze is they chose to have most of it be scareactors... meaning its hard to maintain and hard to run. If it was run by all animatronics or something to that degree it would not only be scarier but more consistent giving universal more wiggle room on the amount of scares. I mean theres only 1-2 scares per scene..... It would have given them the excuse to make it longer aswell. Still an amazing attraction.. its too bad it closed, but I would expect some sort of revamped version once the walking dead movies come out soon.
Going to remember this one forever. Energy of the whole thing was electric, the live actors were all so amazing. This in particular was so detailed and impressive. I hope the park has a permanent walk-through thing again in the future, it is such a unique and special format of show/attraction , having that year-round and not only for HHN would be amazing. When universal does live events like this they do it so well.
I assume you got permission to film or something? Even if not it's nice to see the attraction in full one final time considering most people only filmed the queue
It's closing although I Believe it's coming back for Horror Nights one last time later this year. People believe it's because it's right next to the Illumination land that's starting to come into shape after the fact near there.
Forgyx Fox sadly it is no more. I read an article that some of the performers are suing Universal because they were being inappropriately touched by drunken park guests and that was the reason for the closure of The Walking Dead attraction.
