Wow, thats a lot of work done on the 66, well done. My brother had a very solid '66 2dr hardtop in WA state, but I guess it was only 10 years old back then 🙂

I would love to have a 65 Impala 2door hardtop with just a 283 engine but I think I'd want a 3 speed with overdrive automatic trans in it and I really wouldn't care about what shape the body's in as long as it isn't banged up. Interior wouldn't matter either as long as it's decent shape and the suspension and frame be in good shape cause I had a bad experience with the frames back in the 70s. I wouldn't care about the color or body parts being mixed up from period correct car's as long as it would run and drive without having to pay a huge amount for it. I don't see em in my area anymore and I remember when they were plentiful compared to nowadays

Yes both rear tires are road handlers. Fronts are Motomasters. The tires were practically brand new when the original owner parked it.

@@jkimpala6651 those were the cats meow back in the day for winter tires! My dad had them on his 85 Toyota Tercel fwd, and I had them on a 81 Honda civic. The three of you sure knocked out that sheet metal work in those four days, I’ll be subscribing to watch the rest .👍🇨🇦

I prefer oxy-acetylene over tig or mig but occasionally use all three on one panel Mig fit the schedule best for this job

Am I wrong but unless there what you say # car should they all not get a Ls engine and complete upgrade to the suspension if you’re spending the money make it drive like a modern vehicle

The impalla was only at rust bros for four days. The orange roadrunner is painted and waiting to assemble. Mikes open to selling it as is
