BYU sophomore James Corrigan finished third in the 3k steeplechase at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials. However, he currently is not on Team USA due to not having achieved the Olympic standard mark of sub-8:15. Fortunately, fellow training partner and U.S. Trials champion Kenneth Rooks plans to help him chase the standard in Philadelphia on Saturday night June 29th. I had a chance to film their final workout together in Eugene before they flew to Philly to chase James' Olympic dream.
Note: James and Kenneth started their workout while I was finishing up filming Elise Cranny, so I don't have footage of the first half of their workout. You can see their full splits below.
