Well technically you could play 'Offline', if people had to absolutely play it right there and then, they could. (yes I know its not the same as playing on the live servers... ofc...)

I haven’t even made it past connecting after creating my character and i have tried to login about 20 times since launch lol

Disaster is too gentle of a word. Catastrophe is more apropos. They were super smug about their prep and blew it. After 1.5 days there is no end in sight for the problems.

your lucky to even be able to play lol...I can't beat the first loading screen after making my character. waste of a vacation.

Also one EU server only. I haven't seen a single queue in EU 30ms but cant progress past first camp always DC..

agree with all your points - its a disaster, and there's no excuse for that - they made a mistake PERIOD - everything was forseeable...in early access, i had issues with disconnects, general instability, but expected it to be ironed out...but hey, too bad for them - steam reviews are getting VERY low, and reviews on metacritic wont be kind to this either i assume...not as many people will play like you say, less microtransactions will be sold - all of it deserved...also - this is THE worst game launch...i played it all, and nothing was really worse - at least there were queues, or it worked in a few hours

Wolcen devs spend around a full week to fix online services. And Wolcen wasn't that bad of a game to begin with. But as you stated this problem killed of momentum for Wolcen.

LOL what a joke. They couldnt figure this out in the 3 years leading up? That's LITERALLY the point of ea. If you cant figure out the servers bc launch day will be bigger, then you do not belong in the business of video games.

is it true that gear is completely irrelevant in this game and everything is too easy but people dont notice at first because of the feel good of bashing stuff with nice graphs... only once the refund period is over people wake up that wtf this is completly fake an d broken

They should stop sales until issue fixed.. it seems the narrative e being pushed out there is giving your money and wait … … well why can’t the company stop sales fix the problem then resume sales …

It was almost as bad as D3 launch.

I bought this game 3 years ago for 20 $. Had fun, but atm i wouldnt advice anyone to support this greedy devs. They had forecast numbers, they were just greedy and hoped to get away with it. In 2months, beside a niche player base, this game will be forgotten

Everyone is so salty while I’m having a blast playing offline on my steam deck. Just finished the campaign on my Paladin lol

Just refunded! Maybe in couple months I'll give it ago. POE2 company is loving this disaster.
