Not perfect, I have a bunch of ele / lighting / primalist stuff in this filter as I want to start looking for gear in next build.
Important thing is to show the REALLY important tier 6/7 affixes for our build when it comes to defenses and dmg, refer to spreadsheet for what affixes we want.
Again, I don’t recommend using this filter tbh.

At the moment testing Profane Veil (for extra curse - Penance). Have tried Rip Blood / Harvest / Transplant in that last skill spot but so far from pure "feeling", Profane Veil feels the best to spec into. Penance, per the game guide has the SAME TEXT "curse which deals fire damage when THEY are hit" compared to skill text that says "when they hit a target". Obviously these text contradict each other...will test it more when I can to figure out what it is...but regardless, another curse totaling us to 7 is just massive...might be the best option for us but we'll see.

Disregard, tested in on training dummy and Penance doesn’t proc from our hits.

@HArryvajonas def a point in specializing blood curse, more dmg, bone armor, execute, explodes and most importantly another curse marked for death.

I went a similar direction, stacking curses/ailments. My build resolves on casting a huge Spirit Plague AOE, then explode it with Soul Feast. When enemies don't die one shot in that combo, I either use Ghostflame and zome around with speed boost, or place a Fissure that automatically cast Chaos Bolt. It works really well so far. Mostly Necrotic damage, perhaps I will need to change the build soon to focus on DoT, or Crit. I would like to avoid playing poison or bleed, hopefully I can scale Curses/Ailments to late late game with Witchfire, Torment etc. (Still using the Isadora 3 items set at lvl 74).

I've tried the 2 Maxroll builds and yours over the weekend (none of them were minmaxed). Your version mixed with Chaos Bolt + explody curses for maps and especially bosses felt a lot stronger at the corruption level I'm currently at. I'll probably get to 200 corruption tonight. Excited to see what you come up with the Profane Veil version you have in the pinned comment.

This build is really a labor of love for me…I love “triggers” ( or cast on crit like Poe) and the visuals of a warlock getting these huge explosions, triggering curses plus blood rip and seeing that spectral scythe is so damn satisfying. Really glad you’re enjoying it! I haven’t looked at the maxroll guides but I think, like I mention in the video a dot / ailment Warlock might be the best all around version. But who knows, I still have a bunch to learn about LE.

coming from lvl 88 bleed warlock and really like your take on the build. Feel the bleed one and some of the others use too many uniques which I dont particually like. Was nice watching this vid.

I have been following your original build and stumbled on the Soulfire unique relic, and ho'boy! Ended up taking out the 2 points in cold for CB for Mania of Flames, and for Fissure, only putting 2 points in Stygian to open up Signed by Terror and Mantle of Flames. Not sure if this is viable late game but at ~lvl 70, im dropping 50-120 ignite stacks on high hp mobs easily. Obvious noob here, so just wondering if this could be an option later on.

Oh that sounds a bunch of fun! That should def be a nice build option. I’m working on leveling my shaman a bit then gonna go back and grind warlock a bit more.

Do you manually cast bone curse? I think the damage is only trippled if you cast it and not when chaos bolts proc it, so to me it seems like pretty low damage, even with the necrotic conversion. I mainly just use it for the 12% kill threshold and bone armor and then just let chaos bolts proc it.

Per the skill tree “Chaos Bolts hits against Cursed enemies CASTS Bone Curse at their location” we are still “casting” Bone Curse. The triple dmg from bone curse triggers when WE hit, we do get the triple dmg.

@@Mdntech3000 hmmmmm if that's the case, I can't help but wonder when a hit isn't tripled in damage... Maybe some minions can cast it, and this tripple damage thing is only like that to avoid making minions OP.

This is a amazing build, but I didn't understand, what skill stack a plague too in myself for a few seconds, its Spirit Plague? But what node in tree? I aprecciate, I thank!

@Negron Technology. Currently, I'm encountering a significant mana issue and I'm reaching out to seek advice on where I might be going wrong. Whenever I cast fissure, my mana depletes rapidly, often leaving me unable to use other skills. However, observing your gameplay, this doesn't seem to be the case for you. How did you manage to address this problem?

I mention it in the video but I completely abandoned Chthonic Fissure spawning Chaos Bolts….like you said it is just unsustainable. I honestly think it’s better to just focus on fissure applying acid skin / necrotic shred / damnation / spirit activation / more dmg per necrotic resist. The build has been much better since I shifted to that.

I use the skill node on rip blood which gives mana gain via blood orbs. It helps, but I still need to improve my mana issue and I'm just around lvl 55, so I don't know if there's a better solution for end-game.

@@EggsOverSteezy oh yeah I misread the node back then, and despecialized the skill when I noticed it. Ended up focusing solely on torment, which is kind of a shame, but I don't feel like my build was supported enough for empowered monos.

Any exalted / rare that has cast speed and necrotic dmg. The laddle drops from arcane mages so ALWAYS kill him!

@@Mdntech3000 I'm using explosive trap as a bow attack but really only to buff my Falcon. My primary damage is from Falcon strike and dive bomb which are both physical damage. Explosive trap is a fun ability though. I think you could make it work. I saw a clip of somebody using explosive ballista. Things have screen wide radius on the blast. Looks fun as well.

@@Mdntech3000I'm definitely gonna be giving warlock a go next. Your video has convinced me :). I'm using falconer to grind out monos and my circle of favor reputation. Its so fast through monoliths with the aerial assault travel skill.

Love the build, sadly I think they changed some things because I keep killing myself with self-inflicted torment from somewhere. Checked skills, passives, everything and still cant locate the source but it seems to be linked to either spirit plague or chaos bolts. Not sure if you are still running the build but maybe you could check for yourself? Thanks for the amazing build anyway :)

figured it out now, it was the aspect of death passive in the Acolyte tree. Double checking does help sometimes 😂

I really can’t recommend a filter…think you just have to figure it out on your own because we all want different things…but I would just take every affix that WE want like necrotic dmg / resist / spell dmg / health etc…and emphasize them on exalted gear so we don’t miss those exalted tier 6/7 affixes that we really need.

Did you spec on hit ward from spirit plague? That’s most important, then get a lot of cast speed, hopefully from Laddle wand. Spec chthontic fissure spirits only and get a bunch of necro resist and should be getting this ward reliable. You can actually get a bunch more tbh.

i really like warlock but also hate it so bad, having hard time in corruption 250 getting one slapped by a litle thing, even with res cap, 418% necro res and 92 int, boss fights takes ages, dosent even dot thic above 14k so idk, and yea i got all the gear pices/most affixes++, so im about to reroll another class just becouse of this, changed build like 4 times to test out stuff but nah

Yea I’ve had to play VERY carefully above 200 corruption. Supposedly they changed corruption in 1.0 and it’s much harder at lower corruptions now but I dunno.

if you want more damage for bosses try to swap for bleed. it's insane. butyou need some gear for it.

I have a feeling Warlock will be nerfed. I am doing a similar build and kind of winging it and am just melting the screen. My only other experience with the game is leveling a Void Knight spin 2 win to 50 (following a guide), and this Warlock ( no guide) is easily 4'-5 times more powerful.

@Mdntech3000 Specced into leach on the passive tree and in Chaos Bolt. I am able to face tank nearly everything up to 65 just holding down Chaos Bolt.

The optimization is horrible on this game. I can play the prettier d4 4K maxed everything and have 140-160fps steady. This game maxed 4k same and I have 50-140… it’s terrible. Especially with this buikd as it has soo much going on the screen. A 4090 shouldn’t struggle with this shit looking game. The launch has been pathetic

D4 does look better….im surprised your performance is so bad, im playing on a 4080 7800x3d and have had no issues performance wise…lag / server issues / loading times were awful the first three days though.

Just lower Volumetric lighting and you'll get significantly more fps and there's not much difference. I'm running on very high on everything except that with a 1060gtx and i'm not getting less than 80fps.
