My niece recreated a photo of her at 12 months on her mum’s shoulders. How her poor mother managed to have her on her shoulders now at the age of 34! It was hilarious.

I honestly think that grandparents love their grandchildren more than their own kids because it’s like having a kid without the responsibility of raising a good human lol they can spoil them all they want, they don’t have to worry about discipline, its just all fun! 💙

100%!! I had to gently chastize (jokingly) my mother-in-law when I saw her cutting the crust off of my son's sandwich. My jaw hit the floor because he had never asked for the crust to be cut off but she did it readily and then admitted to having done that for him since he was even littler. lol Yes, grand love their grandbabies even more in a different way!

I am so enjoying watching your journey since my grand baby is just 3 weeks behind you... I’m getting to watch what my daughter is about to get to experience... I will say that there is something extra special about your grand babies. I have 2 already and I think the saying you love them is is accurate. Part of it is you get to do all the spoiling and part of it is seeing that you raised your kids to be good parents so your proud to be a grand parent.

The card Grant chose is perfect💕 When my babies (29, 31) were born I used some of the cards I received as framed artwork or included in a shadow box for their nursery. The rest I scrapbooked and added to the Memory Box I made for them to have when they were grown. It's true the love you experience holding your child is like no other and it's difficult to imagine that anything could top it....but when our daughter had her own babies (she has 3) and I saw her cradle her own baby, the love I felt was a whole other level, easily the BEST and MOST PRECIOUS moments in my 51yrs 💕 I'm overjoyed that your 1st Mother's Day (yes you're a Momma) was so special celebrating with your family. God Bless and keep each one of you.

Same thing happened to me with the BP it went nuts right before I had my daughter. I was induced early as well, had to stop working and sit with a monitor on constantly. I hope all goes well for her ...SENDING GOOD VIBES HER WAYYYYY

Wishing Mary a safe, fast, unforgettable, beautiful labor!! ❤️ there is no information out there that truly prepares you for your unique labor experience. Go with the flow and trust in God that he has the right doctor and nurses around you. I’m glad my only birth plan was “get an epidural” because both of my labors were not what I expected 😂 I hope one of the grandmoms can move in for at least 2 weeks, it’ll be very helpful!! It truly takes a village to raise tiny creatures (and keep you from biting hubby’s head off at 3 am)

Love and peace to Mary! I was hospitalized at 36 weeks with my march 2020 baby for pre-e. I was there for a week and then they induced me at 37 weeks. Hoping everything goes off without a hitch for her and baby boy!! 💙💜

I took Mary’s approach (also an oldest child so maybe a oldest daughter thing-always have it together😬🥴☺️) & had everything ready by 32 weeks so if for some reason baby came early it wasn’t a stressful situation! Soooo excited for y’all, it’s going to be so fun to have babies side by side-my sister & I are trying in the same timeframe this year & hope we get to be pregnant & have babies close together! Sending so much love & positive energy your way, you’re a superstar!!

I’m at 20 weeks and just deciding on a nursery theme. My sister just had her baby in March and I deliver in October. It’s a cool experience to be pregnant at the same time. Due to Covid and my sister living in another state I didn’t get to see her until after she delivered. I’m glad you got to cherish these moments with your sister.

Prayers for your sister for a healthy, and safe delivery! I am 32 weeks and I've been diagnosed with gestational hypertension. Thank goodness no signs of preeclampsia but I totally understand her stress. Having to go to the hospital twice a week for non stress tests to monitor the little one is pretty stressful. Which isn't helpful when they need you to have a good blood pressure haha

I’m so glad you got to spend time with your family!! I feel the same way about my family (they are my happy place!)and it may sound weird but any time you get to see your family, it makes me so happy, bc I know how special and fun that time is!
