A little packing tip for anyone who sees this… get different color stickers or tape for each room so you don’t have to write on them.. saves a little time and easier to distinguish when you get to your destination.

I’ve loved watching this whole life transition that you’ve gone through in the last year. I hope you take some time to settle into your new home before taking on another large project. I would absolutely love to see you relaunch your store once you can secure a more inclusive supply chain. I’d love to support that venture when it’s available. I would also be obsessed with watching you foster a dog since I know you can’t fully commit to owning one but I could definitely see you absolutely showering some fosters with love. I have to say the light wood/marble/flooring is very pretty with all the natural light coming in, good choice! Enjoy your new townhouse, I loved that area when my bestie and I lived one street apart. Was the first place I lived alone and felt like a proper grown up for the first time (sort of) in my 30's lol!

Designing your own reno will bring you years of joy. We completed our reno 6 years ago and I still find myself taking quiet moments to appreciate how much I love what we did and take pride that yep, we did that! Happy for you and all that light!

Tara my husband and I recently moved and we also had about a month of overlap and the places were quite close to each other so we did exactly what your dad suggested. We would do a load in our car everyday (almost). The level of exertion for that was on the scale of light cardio so we actually enjoyed it then by the end we started taking apart actual furniture and moving it using our car! We had booked movers but ended up canceling them because our move was soooo easy and gradual. Best part is that since we were doing small loads at a time, we would immediately unpack the load at the new place so when we finally fully moved in, everything was already put away and organized ❤️

You got this Tara! When I moved from my apartment to my house I made a “donation” pile then a “trash” pile. Then I packed up things I know I don’t use daily such as board games, extra bathroom stuff, bedding/towels/ linen etc. I packed away all my shoes and left an open box with shoes I use for work. Same with winter coats and clothing. Kitchen stuff I packed what I don’t use such as those big pots and pans and all these extra bowls plates cups etc. so excited to see your kitchen!

Literally so blown away by the bathrooms. The black borders on the mirrors is every-thing! Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Your home is just beyond aesthetic. Amazing job! It's so funny at the start of this vlog how much I could relate to just not knowing where to start and being overwhelmed by the mess and clutter. That is me to a tee! Then at the end I was picturing you moving all of your stuff in and the fun of organizing your kitchen cupboards and pantry shelves and setting up your furniture and trying different floor layouts. Ahh your house is looking amazing!!! So excited for you. Def living vicariously through you! Not sure if you've decided what you were doing with the kitchen if you were going to go with railings to close off the kitchen and the living room but I think glass would look soooo beautiful there as it would allow maximum light and block dirt and dust from dropping down onto the living room and onto where your couch would be from the kitchen.
