From the days u were going to new york with ur family.i remember we were booking our honeymoon for new york and i was researching vlogs to watch so i know what roughly to expect and been a fan since!!!!!!! Tip: do the trash bags the other way to pack hanging clothes. Like scoop them and then put the ties around the top of the hanger

I know by now you're already moved in, but for the garbage bag hack around the clothes - turn it the other way so it completely covers your clothes and keeps them from getting dirty, then tie it up around the hangers! This also allows you to use the garbage bag again instead of having a ton of bags with a hole in the bottom! haha :)

Knew someone would comment this! But yeah this is the best way! Easier to do it to while the clothes are still hanging then loop the garage bag ties around the bunch of hangers, leave hanging until you load them

So I've done this the way Tara did with the end over the hangers- I've pulled the clothes up into the bag and tied it off at the bottom. Sounds like it works either way.

For the candles in the fireplace, they have battery operated ones with a remote that might be easier than lighting candles all the time!! xoxo

Yes to this! Get the Luminara ones they are the best and then you put them all on a timer so they go on everyday at the same time like at 5 pm, it's a VIBE! They will stay on for 5 hours and turn off themselves.

The garbage hack I usually use is the opposite way. That way you can reuse the bags afterwards and don’t have to cut a hole in them. Also it keeps the clothes clean since they’re in the bag lol

Tara, I do the bagging the opposite way where you're tying it at the top where the hanger is and that way the garbage bags can be re-used. If you do it the way that you have, you could also fold the dresses up so that you can tie the bag at the bottom of each bundle and then nothing drags or gets dirty.

The garbage bag trick, for future reference: 1, use a drawstring LARGE garbage bag, 2. put the hanters through a hole in the bottom of the bag and smoothe it down 3. lay it flat and gently fold the clothes up from the bottom and tuck them into the bag, pull the drawstring and tie a bow.

The trash bags go the other way. You pull the trash bag on the bottom of the chunk of clothes and tie the ties around the handles of the hangers so the clothes are completely in the bags and clean/together. I’ve done it on my past 5 moves and it’s so convenient and you can still use those trash bags for moving trash after

You should do the clothes the other way in the bag. Like, put the bottom of the clothes in the bottom of the bag, and then put the ties of the trash bag around the hangers. That way your clothes are totally encased in the bag AND you can reuse the plastic garbage bag for something else!

Loved your “ji ji” when you were preparing breakfast 😂 I would recommend that you put some liners in your drawers and shelves in your kitchen and bathrooms. It will keep the wood from staining from food or products. You can find some cute ones in neutral colors and it’s something you can also do in an organization video! Love the house!!!

Loveeee the candles in the fireplace! Amazon has cute fake candles just like that and they turn on automatic. They are incredible!! Super realistic looking. You can have the candle vibe daily without having to light them!!

When I do the trash bag trick with clothes, I zip tie the hangers too ($1/pk at Dollar Tree). It’s so fun seeing your stuff again when you’ve had it packed up and pull it out again. Enjoy that new closet!

I can't wait to see the kitchen finished and the railings for the stairs and at the end of the kitchen. I'll bet you're glad to have an elevator at the apartment so that the only stairs are in your house. Moving with stairs can be tiring
