La Flèche Wallonne is one of the highlights of the cycling season. The race is part of the Ardennes classics with the Amstel Gold Race and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. The 30th of September 2020, La Flèche starts from Herve and arrives on the famous Mur de Huy.

@@andreasbauer5912 Apart from being Swiss, how so? Completely different style of rider. Cancellara was never explosive like this. Hirschi will never be strong against the clock like that.

@@andrew7taylor Yes, you are right. He won't be a successful Rider at Time Trials, but he will be sucessfull at the classic Monument races. There are some to come Liege-Bastogne-liege for example

Great ride by Hirschi. He was always high up in 2nd wheel. Always getting a draft from whoever was in front of him. Smarts & legs!

Was surprised how strong Benoit Cosnefroy and Richie Porte were :) Also I think this is only the 2nd time Richie participated in this race

@@PaulveIo I have to admit I only really knew him since this year's TdF where he seemed to be strong rather on the shorter, but not so steep climbs. But yeah you're absolutely right! (I dont really follow the news in junior class :/)

Hirschi has the physiological characteristics of Valverde with the racing style of Alaphilippe. (not quite as explosive as Alaphilippe but probably has the potential to be better in stage races/grand tours).

I was thinking the same think damn if he just waited what a couple hundred feet or less Alaphilipe lost a recent race like that where he would have won 100% and just made it on stage 2 this year
