Joel: *rigs a poorly-designed TNT trap in the Scottage* Scott and Pearl: *easily disarms the trap--having seen beforehand, and hearing Grian freaking out like mad* Joel: *strops off in rage*
Grian in third life: "RUN, SCAR WANTS YOUR SHOES!" Grian in last life: "YOU SOLD SCAR MY SHOES." Now we just need to see if there's any shoe related hijinks in Double Life
Joel: -try’s to kill the whole southern gang -digs tunnels through their base -steals sugarcane -digs more tunnels -builds a trap in grians presence -HAS A RED NAME!!! Grian: „I don’t think we can trust Joel“
3rd Life: Scar owned a llama named Pizza that eventually died to the original owner (Etho) Last Life: Scar owned a horse name Yellow Snow that eventually died to the original owner (Grian) How tf do I always spot a coincidence each session
Grian could've let Joel die to the creeper and claimed that it was just a prank, but he didn't. Once again, Grian influences the entire outcome of the series with the knowledge of a creeper behind an unsuspecting player.
Nah that would be no fun for joel, and having a red name on the server adds more spice to it so of course he warned him. It's about having fun after all ;)
Mumbo: _The forest is on fire_ Pearl: _six minecarts with TNT and it failed, this wasn't you right?_ Scar: _some kind of hooligan came and tried to trash my house_ Grian who was involved in all of that: 🤔🤔🤔
"The TNT minecarts just laaaagged above the door, how weird!" "Your sugarcane just laaaagged into my inventory~" "Oh wow Scar, your cactus just laaaagged into MY inventory!"
Since your wall got burnt down u can waterlog wooden stairs and that makes them burn and blast proof, this could be handy but it’s a very tedious task Also, love the series!! :)
I wonder how annoying it would be to have a mixed wall: axe, pickaxe, and shovel materials so someone trying to punch through has to keep switching tools. preferably mosaic so they have to switch multiple times for head & feet blocks
Grian in every past episode: the south lands need to make sure that we can trust each other Also grian five seconds later: Yep, I'll betray them in a heartbeat!
When Mumbo was talking about having the "most valuable item on the server", I was SO ready to hear something stupid, I didn't expect a real game changer xD
I must admit, the grouping up of people this season has me way more hooked and interested than the first, especially the idea of kingdoms and clans, keep it up!
Personally I like it, but I have found that it has me watching less videos because you can watch so few perspectives and know everything that went on that week
Grian! there's a flaw in the rules: A boogeyman can simply give their lives to an ally, then fail to kill someone, and have all of their lives returned to them.
Grian make a secret enderman far in the nether roof of a warped biome. For reference you can watch loony's deceit smp episode of the enderman farm. That way you will have infinite ender pearls and you can easily escape a bad situation and fight someone with an advantage.
@@DflatedBalloon i laughed so hard, it needs to be in 'best of last life' when grian hopefully makes it, it also would make a great out of context clip!
at 25:09 I love how the southlands are threatening to burn scar's beloved horse in lava and turn him into a nice hot meal, and scar says "I am very hungry"
I think Grian should waterlog the wall because 1) if it gets exploded, the blocks won't get destroyed 2) if it gets burnt, it won't burn down (if it's made of wood, that is) 3) if people try to mine their way through, they would have to deal with all of the water first which is a pain in the neck hope Grian takes this into consideration ^^
*setting up traps* Grian: “I could... temp them.” Grian: “N-n no no no I’m just an observer, I’m not part of this.” Also grian : “why didn’t it work? :( “
I don't get why people don't use snow to trap people, add a sign below of the snow (not block) in the entrance of your basetheb dig to bedrock or lava, then the people who try to go in fall.
It would've been insanely funny if scar looks Grian dead in the eye, then shoots the lead, then walks away saying that (Can leads break with an arrow in Minecraft? I can't remember if that was one of the ways to do it)
"We need to steal cobble from everyone" But you have Mumbo, Impulse, lava, AND water. I'm pretty sure you could have a decent cobble generator in like 5 minutes.
I mean, I can make a simple cobble generator in 30 seconds and I've not even been playing a year. Mumbo and Impulse can make a full-blown stone wall generator.
Honestly, there's a reasonable chance they could make a self-fixing wall. They absolutely have the knowledge on how to do it, only limitation I think would be iron.
@@RisingSwell A straight self-fixing wall is easy with the resources. I would actually be more worried about quartz for observers than iron, though. Immediate edit: Oooh, if the walls are max piston height anyway you might not need observers, just a redstone clock fast enough to tick before 2 blocks can be opened up. And enough obsidian to make disturbing the works not worth it.
Why do you even need observers? Just cobble farm with the stone being pushed up. Suddenly a 13 high wall, any time a piece gets removed the piston can push again and up it goes.
I know this comment will never be seen but… what if you flooded a part of the server. That way it’s super difficult to attack. And you can have a base over the water to high to reach and place blocks that way you have to use endear pearls, a secret water stream up, or to build at the bottom of the ocean. It’s super defensible as long as one person is inside to let people in.
I love how the horse was literally grians from before and when grian gets the horse from scar he acts like it wasn’t originally grians pet and threatens its life lol
I'm late to the party, but I have a thought on the wall. Wood outside, cobble or dirt second layer, and, hear me out, lava middle. Like a molten hot Oreo. Make the lava hit one block up from the bottom so that anyone mining in at that face level block is immediately confronted with that horrifying orange glow.
Theoretically, if they get enough regen, instant health, and gapples, they could constantly heal from the border damage, and travel very far from the mainland. Maybe if they find an exposed portal room, they could even go to the end. Imagine that.
@@DK-tv6rk yes i know, i'm saying if they find an underwater stronghold with a way to get in without breaking anything. Even if they can't place or break i'm relatively sure they can activate the eyes, like you can in adventure mode
I absolutely love this series. In fact, 3rd Life inspired me so much that I'm writing a book with a similar concept. It has three characters in a world that they can control and they start off as friends then slowly descend into all out war. Can't wait to see the directions this season takes. Edit was grammar correction I noticed right after posting of course.
@@_TheMousies_ Month late cause I rarely comment therefore don't check for replies. I'm currently a third into the book. It'll be a good few months till its done, but once it is I might post it somewhere if so I'll come back here and put a link.
Next season, I'd add a land-claim mechanism of limited size to prevent people from just burrowing into bases. It would also be a reason for people to build secret entrances and such.
In my class there are some people who say it is pronounced shurrek is that true? I always thought it was Shrek (that was a joke btw I am not dumb but ppl in my class do say that as a joke)
Me the ALPHA M*LE of this comment section and me command RESPECT. Right now me telling you to NOT observe any of me nice cool sweet videos. Instead just look at me awesome good powerful thumbnails. Thank you, dear cc
I think what makes minecraft survival against other players so interesting is that everyone has the ability to break blocks. As long as you're sneaky and smart, you can pretty much do anything you want
