It helps that they dealt with relatable family dynamics and put in actual jokes instead of slightly funny observations delivered short of classic (read: "working") joke structures, like Modern Family does (while I've always loved Ed O'Neill and still do). Roseanne kept her show even more grounded in reality, with an almost Un-American lack of polish and icing.
PLEASE bring this show back! I have watched every episode of every season so many times that I can literally recite almost every word before it is said. The acting, the comedy, the family values, God, and on and on. We need this show back for so many reasons. This country needs some laughter back in their lives and maybe it will stop all of these horrific shootings. @TimAllen I'm begging and praying to please make it happen!
Teresa Joerger Tim Allen is not the one who canceled the show, the intolerant Left, who disagree with anyone's politics other than their own are the ones who canceled it. So why beg Mr. Allen to fix a problem that was not his doing and is beyond his control?
I don't know the validity of it, but I read somewhere that with the Roseanne reboot getting such rave reviews, Fox is interested in picking up Last Man Standing.

Dracul Impaler If a movement had started against the intolerant Left long ago, we wouldn't have to worry about their intolerance cancelling out highly popular sitcoms, just because one of the stars (Tim Allen) did not subscribe to the disease known as Leftism. He unfortunately made the mistake of expressing those views once too often while on set. Now if he had attacked President Trump or Conservative views, not only would he have not been canceled, they probably would have renegotiated his contract to include a substantial pay raise. That's how it works in the Left controlled Hollywood.
I was so fortunate on my honeymoon to see LMS with Nick Jonas as special guest. I got to sit behind Tim’s real wife and Rick Dees. Night never forget. I totally get why actors love this career !!! So cool.
Same, S1 with Krosney was the best. Amanda Fuller was alright as Kristin, but Alexandra Krosney had more personality, was in the right age bracket as Molly & slighty Kaitlyn, and was much more relatable. Like the Second Mandy, both characters had a huge growth spur that didn't match the show at times. I can understand changing Ryan's actor from S1, but the gradual changes just irked some fans including myself. The only thing that kept the show together was likely Tim and Kaitlyn (Eve) for the most part.
I like it a lot too. Only major drawback is it's "missing" half the walls so it's pretty drafty and the neighbors can see into every room, including the bathroom... 🤣
This show was/is amazing, I hated the fact that "Last Man Standing" was canceled. It was like reliving a heartache after Home Improvement back in 1999. That was the same year my grandfather died sadly enough. 🕊
I liked the show and everyone in it, but I only came to fully appreciate what Molly brought to the table after she left. Alas, as the show dealt with real subjects in a mature fashion it had to be cancelled or people might learn, the horror!
Just 5 hours 'till showtime! So looking forward to it! Tim Allen, I really get a kick out of all the references to "Home Improvement". LOL! Oh, and besides you, Christoph Sanders (Kyle) is the greatest! I'm from North Carolina, so I'm a little biased. Keep the laughs coming!!!
I wished Alexandra Krosney was never replaced in this Television series. Really killed the show for me. (She was the other Brunette alongside Molly Ephraim). I know we're all entitled to opinions and I do like Kaitlyn Dever and Molly Ephraim, but the new actress looks way older than what Alexandra did. And I just can't understand how they are able to move forward as if their Daughter undergoing "big bone"/facial reconstruction surgery, and changing her hair to blonde was nothing. It's like having Will Smith in one Season of The French Prince of Bel-Air then Season 2 you trade him in for Martin Lawrence.
@@Jay_Sullivan That was how I felt, anyway. What the "creative differences" were that got Krosney kanned, I guess we'll never know. She's certainly better-looking than Fuller (who was fitted with a wig that made her look more like Travis).
Fun Fact: Tim's co-star Elizabeth Mitchell said in 2011 at WonderCon fan convention that Tim had asked her to star alongside him in Last Man Standing. He even sent her the pilot script to play his wife. But due to her working schedule at the time, she wasn't allowed to do it. It's amazing that Tim thought of Elizabeth first to play his wife in Last Man Standing. Those two working together again has been a long time coming. Elizabeth is truly the best actress in Hollywood and i believe she would've been the right choice for the role. She would've made Vanessa's character completely different from average female sitcom characters. Elizabeth's bubbly and giggly personality and her exceptional talent to play such complex traits in her characters would've been a huge asset for a sitcom character. Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell playing a sitcom married couple, the biggest missed opportunity in television.

Doug The intolerant Left "cut" the show due to Tim's political leanings. He believes in America and he made the mistake of expressing those beliefs one too many times in an industry predominantly controlled by the Left. Leftism is a disease that rots the mind, body and soul.
Doug I agree, that's why I seriously doubt they will bring the show back. They are too busy attempting to rewrite history and attempting to change independent thought and action, to more of a groupthink/PC society. This country was founded on Christian/ Judeo beliefs and principles and although you certainly don't have to be a Christian, everyone and I mean everyone benefited from living in such a society. That's just one of the things the Left is dismantling and destroying. Everything is political nowadays, I even find myself leaving comments that are almost always constantly informed by politics. It's sickening, because I can remember a time when politics was the furthest thing from my mind. So let me end on a non-political note, I certainly did enjoy Tim Allen in Home Improvement in Last Man Standing, not to mention the few films that he starred in. The gentleman always found a way of tickling my funny bone. I do hope I'm wrong and that Last Man Standing does return to the screen, I just hope that if it does, it hasn't been co-opted by the Left, because in that case the show would have lost the fundamental core of what made it humorous in the first place. Anyways, I watched a bit with Tim Allen last night relating to the fact that they are indeed reviving Last Man Standing under Foxes ownership and I happened to remember our conversation for some reason. I felt the need to come all the way back here and acknowledge that you were right and I was very thankfully wrong about them bringing the show back. I wish they'd come back. I love this show. I watch all the Yutube shows I can find, outtakes, etc. This show has a special chemistry. And just fir the records, I am absolutely not for tRump. However, I absolutely was never offended by Tim's character being a trump supporter. So don't put that spin on the show, producers, it's not an issue. Really miss this show.
Good to see Alexandra and Molly laughing it up together at the table during Tim and Nancy's exchange. Hopefully Fox does the right thing and hires back Alexandra Krosney as Kristin because she is best suited for that Character! She should have never got it taken away from her! Alexandra is the one who looks like she really can easily pass as being Nancy's real daughter the most out of the girls and Alexandra and Molly come off more believable as sisters too. I want to see Kristin get her MD license and become a successful Doctor on the show. They should also bring back Mike Rowe as Uncle Jim for more comical brotherly shenanigans because the episode he was on is hilarious and Tim and Mike Rowe really do look enough alike that they can pass as being real brothers! It would have been great if Mike made at least four episodes per season. And bring back Carla Jimenez as Blanca the Housekeeper because she was a great addition to the show.

Its sad that nowadays if your Pro-America, love your country, want to put your country's citizen's first and is Pro-protecting his or her self and family, accepting accountability for ones individual actions, believing in our constitution and what it stands for, is proud to be an American and hold traditional American values at heart! Just started watching "re runs" of this show about 3 months ago on free form. Never saw it before that. Amazing! Makes me laugh but sometimes makes me cry too.
Bummer, it's not there anymore. I watch reruns all the time on TV, but there are quite a few episodes that I haven't seen, yet. Such as the pilot and many from the first season.
