You are taking less luggage on your trip for four people than I took on my solo trip for ten days! I took two large suitcases, a carry on with wheels for the overhead locker, and my Loungefly handbag! Just for me! I did have seven pairs of shoes with me, four Loungefly bags, and a fleece blanket for the bed etc etc 😂😂 plus gifts for people to give when I arrived. Oh yes and I think ten pairs of Minnie ears…oh and a lot of toiletries and power adaptors etc etc A travel kettle, tea bags….

Hahaha 🤣 of course you did. We think that the lack of Disney has allowed us to pack SO light. Not a pair of ears in sight....feels very odd

I laughed so hard when you said about sweating wearing the polo shirt down international drive trying to find somewhere to eat my husband insists on wearing a vest under his shirts whilst on holiday in Florida so end up doing more washing due to sweaty man I only like to take maybe 10 days worth of clothes that way plenty of room for shopping and souvenirs we are at 56 days till our trip and I cannot wait for a Disney fix have a great time and have fun 😊

Thanks for commenting. We ended up with 3 very light cases this time.. solely for the purpose of souvenirs. Otherwise we could have easily managed with 2 👍🏼

Loved this. We are a family of 5 and take one large suitcase each for 2 weeks. Our kids are older though and it works better for everyone to manage our own stuff. Cases are always bulging coming home 🤣

Thanks. As the kids get older it'll be harder to travel so light. We could have got away with 2 bags, but there would be minimal souvenirs....so we've got three instead 😜 it's all about the merch, right?

First I would like to know how you are both so calm? I am a big “get every possible thing ready for every eventuality” kind of packer and if I had to do it that quickly and late in the day, I would be going mad! As for the question about luggage, last time we went we took 2 cases each and a hand luggage case, (coz it was the first time we had ever done premium) So in total 9 cases for 3 of us 😮 most of it on the way over was food and on the way back plushies and other Disney merch! Eeeek!I really need to take packing tips from you guys. 😂. Anyway can’t wait to see how you get on…enjoy guys. Xx Sarah

Hi Sarah. Thanks so much for commenting. Firstly, the thought of 9 bags gives us anxiety, but fair play. The more space to bring back goodies, the better. We normally plan so much more, but the lack of Disney has allowed us to be a bit more relaxed. Feels strange to be honest as we just weren't stressed. Either way, bags are all checked in - no going back now! Lol 😂

Excellent pre pre travel day vlog. I thought I could hear crying. Donna cleared the house to an inch of its life. Jake, have you been forgiven yet by Donna on the disney tickets? When we were traveling as a family of 5 we had 3 suitcases with 2 more in it. I had cloths for 3 days in it and the rest we bought in the Outlets for 1 year as the boys were growing it was cheaper over there. But I am talking 1996-2010. So the cloths were much cheaper at that time 🤭 Now we take most cloths with us and I wash them in between. Love your vlogs ❤

Btw I also packed food for the first night/morning like bread and some spices, things you can't get it the US. And I also put 2 or 3 bottles of water in each suitcase so we would have cold water when we arrived. I still do that 😅

Oh, we definitely made mistakes packing. Lol. It was very stressful. Nowadays we think that clothes for 5/6 days is enough. So glad you like our vlogs 😍

@@thefinlayadventure6255 yes, bread, as I am German I can only eat that much soft bread 😂 and the spices are for cooking as I did a lot of cooking. My boys love burgers with fries but aftef a couple of days they wanted "real" food - with lots of vegetables. To be honest we always went for 4-5 weeks as we rented an appartment or house 😎

Nice! If you go for that long I completely get it. Sometimes you just need home comforts and PROPER cooking. There's only so much fast food you can eat, right?
