If we think about it Piece maybe represents a paradox, and thus by this she has both the power of Miracles and Certainity on her side. For a paradox to occur it has happen some sorth of miracle as she says and by this the paradox will have the certainity to change things. Is curious if you think in that way she could be the same level as Bern and Lamda, since her mere presence will change all within a gameboard.
finally got around to finishing this and i very much enjoyed the tea party and the short stories R07 put into Saku. This game helped me during a very important time in my life and I will never ever forget the lessons this story taught me. Truly one of the greatest stories written in the 21st century.
Well now that we have Piece, Virgilius and a lot of backstory as well as all games I think Piece should find the piece of Land of the Golden Witch... We are ready for it, I'm sure.
I also would like to see Land of the Golden Witch, it should really be interesting, Virgilius was planned to be the detective rival for Battler as well as the Man of 19 years ago sounds really interesting, so he defenetly was another of Sayo's personas since he also has the Ushiromiya symbol too. 👀
Thank you for the huge effort in uploading along with English text, however, the translation is a bit off in various points. For example, at 20:08 Beatrice says "I noticed it. I wasn't drunk to the point of not noticing it." (気付いておるわ。お前に教えられねば気付かぬほど、酔ってわおらぬぞ). Then Kanon says "I will go check how it's going" (様子を見てまいります). まいります implies that Kanon is proposing to go, and not "we'll" do something. Then there are moments like 31:45, where the translation just skips words... 34:24 A more accurate translation would be "Why was I all depressed here?" to which Piece replies "I''m the one asking" or "I'd like to know" and not "you heard my voice"... Google Translate gets confused at sentences such as these, but anyone who knows Japanese properly will notice.
This ending, makes me wonder how awesome it gonna be the next chapter. The music was spectacular with the dialog between bern and lambda what is the name of the soundtrack (in the convo)

I have a theory for Piece and her connection to Ciconia. *Spoilers for Ciconia chapter 1 and probably future chapters* * * * * My theory is that before she was Asumu probably Piece was originally Miyao from Ciconia, since Higurashi Gou/Sotsu clearly states that Ciconia happened first. Both have many similarities that may allude to this: 1) their presense is clearly a threath for the gameboard, and by desaparing they could reverse things 2) both talk about peace (also peace sounds the same as piece) and the humanity, also Piece could be seen as the witch of humanity since the pieces are humans, 3) both are said to be "the best killers" and that they "were made to kill", 4) Miyao is clearly a Cat (like Rika/Bern) and although Piece didn't say she was a Cat before she explained her fragment she said that "cats love to kills things twice" as if she was a Cat herself. That would explain why Battler saw similitudes between both her and Bern, as since both would actually be "cats" from Featherine. 5) Lamda's fear for Piece in the tea party, although Lamda is a really powerfull witch she really seems to be actually afraid from Piece, which isn't very common to actually see. If Vier was Lamda's original human form as Higurashi suggested then maybe something, maybe a battle or something else, happen between Vier and Miyao and maybe that's why she genually fears Piece even thought she is the witch of Certainty, as Piece might have done something to her once when they were in Ciconia. 6) Returning to the similitudes between Bern and Piece, Bern was once a protagonist like Miyao (or one of his alter personalities) seem to be, and since Featherine's minions seem to actually be heroes/protagonists from other games like Bern, Piece can actually fit in this to if she once was Miyao.
