Video shots around Holmfirth from 6.00am on a Sunday morning when completely deserted (except distance shots - when drone was over agricultural land - with farmer's permission) . Safety was never compromised with no overflying of people. Lightweight drone and experienced hobbyist pilot who has been flying much more difficult to fly non-GPS, non-stabilised Collective Pitch RC helicopters for the past ten years.
This video is for the pleasure of those who appreciate Holmfirth, the surrounding area and, of course, Last of the Summer Wine. It is produced purely because the pilot enjoys where we live, flying, photography, editing and music and not for any financial gain.
Safety was paramount at all times during the filming of this video; there were no people around during take off or landing or under or around any shots. Line of sight was maintained and the two street flights were conducted very early in the morning and when completely clear.
With some of the comments received on the initial upload of this video, it goes without saying, our filming days are over. However Facebook comments have been repeatedly asking for the video to be re-submitted, so here it is.
I hope you enjoy, because (we have since learned), with regulations as they are, it's unlikely it will ever be possible to film anything like this here again...
