I really love the Eagles the song The Last Resort has a very nice lyrics almost an epic. I can relate to movies on how the West was won. On how America got its title the home of the brave and the land of the free. Thank you.
Saw this band for the first time live last summer at Wembley. So many good songs and so many memories. I think I first heard them back in 1974 when my late bother bought the single "One of these nights" and Ive been mesmorised by them ever since. I remeber sitting on the banks of the river thames with my school mates, I was 16 and my friend was playing a cassette of their songs, all perfect for a carefree summer day by the river. That was 45 years ago and Ive lived a full lefe in that time, 5 children, 9 grandchildren, several businesses, and community service, and a marriage that lasted 25 years. But I still think as I did then and it seems that the die was cast with heavy influences buy this band. It would be great to be able to go back in time and visit old freinds and family and get reaquianted, but many of them have passed away and some live on the other side of the world. I miss them all, and I miss those days of music, family and freindships. But I also count my lucky stars for all that has happened in between. Lifes been good to me.......

the first time i've heard this song was wayback 2007 (where i was a 7 year old dude) and since that day, i sang this song for quite sometime, wherever i go. This song means a lot to me; a big part of my life.
One of the eagles finest! To say its their best song under sells so many other greats! Just watch when hell freezez over for an hour of absolute class!! Brilliant harmonies and a band so tight it passes as a recording not live! Yes live this song and many more are better than any recording can put out!! Rip G.F!!!
