But - and I suppose I feel like I have to say this, at the risk of sounding like a pedantic, boring old fart (which is more or less what I am), probably because I teach English in a fairly obscure university - if you're going to be the ones to carry the flag and keep the country going when SHTF, which, with God's grace and a lot of luck you certainly are, I really hope you carry a dictionary as well so you can preserve our language while you save our culture for future generations. @@WiryOak Funny that you say that,that 5 Ton is going to be worked at being 29,000 lbs instead of 21,550 lbs like it was,after a good while of driving,it'll take five minutes at least to let off some steam before it can be shut down.
Would be useful with a 5th wheel option, to do CDL jobs in peace time or to hook up "found" fuel tankers and reefer trailers in shit hit the fan times?
There are literally 5 Ton Semi Tractors.Look up the M931,the M923 is just a Cargo Transporter.The Military has 7,500 Gallon Tankers that some of them pulled in Service,you can buy them also.
