I guess most years my lolita goal is the same: Wear the fashion more, haha. I pretty much only do at conventions or meetups, and I could hardly go to any recently, for obvious reasons. Guess it's time to remind my friend to do that photoshoot we were talking about! Make your own occassions and stuff. Good luck with your goals! Dolly cat is a super cute print! (I have the pink OP, but alas, not worn it out yet.)
This is my first real year in the fashion so I'm excited for it. My two goals are to get the basic pieces to make coordinates with most of the dresses I'd be interested in (I tend to gravitate to certain colors/patterns). And to complete the coordinates for all the dresses I've already bought. I love wardrobe videos and such for that very reason by the way! Finding pieces that will more likely than not fit and fit well or just need some tweaking but it can be done, are great, especially when starting out. I'm plus sized, tall and broad shouldered, Lolita fashion is a struggle with that. XD LOL
How exciting! Planning a coordinate before you purchase a dress is always a lot of fun. Once you have the piece, it's equally as fun to see what works in-person! I'm always surprised at what pairs in my wardrobe. Lolita truly can be a challenge for many people, myself included! I've been strength training and I'm nervous my Angelic Pretty dresses will be too small for my shoulders ; x ;
@@magicalgirlme I could definitely see how that would be a concern with the shoulders and arms even! I don't even bother with AP, even though I love some of their dresses a lot, I just worry far too much about the fit of them and I feel like a murderer if I cannibalize the waist ties to alter the fit. XD Meta thankfully has some great dresses that do fit me well! Like my dream dress, Twinkle Journey in purple, love that dress! Unfortunately I have nothing that matches it other than black, so I color matched ribbons at craft stores and I'm going to work on learning how to make a headdress and wrist cuffs for it. I found some really nice star buttons that match the buttons on the dress, so I will be using those for accents too! I've been having so much fun gathering stuff for this fashion. XD Though now waiting on shipping of my items is starting to wreck me (especially with the lock downs in China royally messing with Taobao orders right now).
@@Rakealia Oh, I am all about having the waist ties used for alterations 😆 🤣 But I completely understand where you are coming from. I get very excited if I can find a matching totebag for extra material 😍 Once my local convention in June is over, I'm totally going to quest some more Meta pieces! I really want their new Hime release in pink 💕 😭 The shipping is crazy right now! I hope things can go back to normal soon. The world has been so chaotic 😭
Hi Callista~ I would love to see a wardrobe post! One of my goals are to get more accessories, hopefully from your shop, hehe. Thank you for your content! You're one of my favorite lolita RU-vidrs!
I hope the wardrobe video will come out well! It will probably be released later in the year, but I am still excited about it. Buying accessories is one of my favorite things! I hope you can add some wonderful additions to your wardrobe this year
