Hello my friends! Over Christmas I recorded this happy Christmas song with my brother. So I thought I'd share it! When translating the song, I realised it has some interesting imagery that I don't usually associate with Christmas, like a rooster swinging his leg. Apparently Larin-Kyösti, the poet, had some unique ideas about Christmas... The music is by Oskar Merikanto, one of our best-loved composers.
1. Ja nyt on taasen joulu, And now it's Christmas again,
