Probably not that much, you don’t get a back like this from doing deadlifts. I doubt he even deadlifts. However, if this guy dedicated an entire year to deadlifts, than it’d be a lot lol.

Rdls, stiff legged deadlifts, back extensions have the potential to build strength, goodmorning squats, any squats build the lower back but low bar squats are the best, barbell rows, and rack pulls all are lower back exercises that will help you build a powerful looking lower back. you dont need heavy hyper extension movements because the lower back can't take load the same way any other muscle can so it's better to keep it stiff @@MrInzombia

No true you should always use medium grip or a little closer if you feel your lats good....and also when arms are too far it shortens the range of motion,puts bicep in weaker position,retracts you shoulder blades much more than normal so terrible for the lats... biomechanically use the grip not too wide and not too low(unless you're doing chin up grip)

The wider the grip, does not mean the wider the back. Look at the origin and incersion of the lat muscle. For lats... use an underhand narrow grip. (Slighter narrower than your shoulders) full stretch at the top and then pull to just underneath the pec for full contraction.

Its more of a bicep compound movement, i totally agree that it hits the bicep, absolutly no question about that. But for a more dominant lat exercise. Its hits different, especially if you til back slightly and bring your hands under the pecs. Its almost like a lat pull through-ish. Bringing the humerous almost in a vertocal plan of motion to the width of the shoulder.

Reverse grip works lower lats I tried it myself and felt it exactly in lower lats around you lower back with reverse grip; normal grip is more like upper lats around you middle trapezoids thats it

Also i know this is off topic, but here’s for anyone who feels they’ve lost hope and needs to hear this: whether you believe in Heaven or not, consider this, if there was a Heaven, are you sure you’d go there after death? Doing them that strict is how you get no gains. Watch Arnold or Tom Platz do pull-downs. Also wide grip is a mid back exercise, narrow grip is for the lats. Wide grip does very little to stretch the lats. Whoever wrote this script is definitely a pencil neck geek.

WRONG!! Wide grip targets more of the mid back and inner lats. CLOSE GRIP targets the outer lats. Think about it, if you do a leg press with feet close together, or very wide. I always get a rear delt pump from close grip cable rows, but never wide! Chest flies or wide grip bench works inner pec fibres. Close grip works triceps and shoulders.

Sirrrr you need to build a very good back before you’re focusing on different hand placement, just focusing the neutral grip is gonna make you progress way quicker honestly then you make room for other back workouts like dumbbell pullovers and cable rows if u rlly wanna big back😣

Focusing some part of the lats specifically is just not really a thing. This reel could confuse too many people. Saying that the grip is more about comfort in the last sentence doesn't save it. Just don't make this video to begin with.

No. Wide grip target mainly the teres but also the rear delts, and traps as it allows the elbows to most efficiently travel back behind the body. Medium grip can vary depending on where you pull your elbow to. Behind the body, it'll be very similar to wide grip and in front of the body it'll be closer to a narrow grip in terms of where it targets. Narrow grip is yes mainly for lower lats and that is dictated by the elbow path. Biomechanics is not that hard, but this wishy washy "this is just how it is info" confuses people into thinking it is.

I like the tearing sound on each concentric motion, very apt to what’s actually going on among weightlifters and calisthenics practitioners. It does -you can change the attachments.unless your gym don't have them
