It's one thing to honour a person when he's still alive and quite another thing to talk nice things and pay just lip service after he is no more there. The two things are miles apart. Lata was very arrogant and stubborn. She discarded many artists. SD Burman Mohammed Rafi Suman Kalyan just to name a few. What she is now saying are just crocodile tears. Let us stand for truth. Have the courage to say what Lata really did.

But I think the lyricist Kavi Pradeep wrote the song and created the tune.I watched a video of Pradeep where he explained that he always wrote lyrics with the tune in mind . Apparently, when he handed the lyrics for movie Sambandh,he sang the song to his tune. MR Nayar was most annoyed because he said it was his job to compose the tune. Kavi Pradeep told him that he ( being a singer) always ensured that his lyrics was sung in a particular way, which was His Way.
Lata Ji not sang for OPN for whatever reasons but Ashaji owes her 70% success to OPN. RDB came much later when she was already established.Rhythm of OPN no one can match even till today.

Lata g refused to sing for O p nayyar when he was a new one saying that how she could trust a new comer in music composition . She thought herself so high and valuable. It made O P Nayyer shocked and later in his career he never gave chance to Lata. He used to cry while recalling that refusal by Lata. And Lata deserved this treatment.

शयाद आप उस राजू भारतानं जो एक third क्लास journalist है उसासे inspire है. लेकीन ओपन ने जयमाला प्रोग्रॅम मे लता की तारीफ ही की थी.our उसमे काहा भी था के उसकी धूने लता के गाने से सूट नही होती थी esiliye उसने लता के साथ काम नाही किया.opn ने लता को कोहिनूर की उपमा दीं थी.

Parvez Alam ji apaki information galat hai. Lataji ko OP sahab ne gane ke liye bulaya tha. Par tabiyat thik na hone ki wajah se woh recording ko nahi aa saki. Bas, sakt mizaz ke OP sahab gusse se agbabula ho gaye aur pratigya ki ke Lata ke sath ve kabhi kaam nahi karenge aur Lata ke binahi kamyab hoke dikhayenge. Apani Sharton pe jinewale OP sahab ne ye baat sach karake dikhayi. Ye sab galatfahmi aur igoism ki wajah se hua.
O P Sahab was a man who demanded respect. What happened to Lata early happened to Rafi Also. Both did not come on time for recording and he cut both singers from his work !
