In an interview Lakshmikant had revealed about this song "aa jaane jaan , and said while the music duo wanted Lata only to sing, they knew they cant convince her, so pyarelal challenged lakshmi kant abt making Lata sing this song. He explained to Lata that there are some songs in a film called inteqaam, so except one song you can sing all the other songs. She asked why what about that one song , so he said no no its a cabaret song which you may not want to sing, and she said NO NO let me hear the words and i will sing it. 😂 this way pyarelal won the bet and made Lata sing this song.
