Here's my like new 1989 Honda Accord Coupe SEi. I love this car, not looking to sell but maybe for the right price. Over 15k, Just over 110,000 miles on it. It's a Metallic gray car but seems tan in the sunlight. Mechanical is great also, everything works like new. Added Viper remote start alarm, with remote door lock actuators, trunk actuator, under dash illumination, can be iphone activated, new custom mats, new leather seat upholstery, 2013 accord shift level, new agm battery, wires, cap, rotor, radiator, drive axles, Honda Fit wheels, VC gasket, kenwood media head with rear backup camera above lisence plate, 400watt 4 channel amp under rear deck. New Honda Oem muffler, trunk cargo net divider. Factory under coated and rust proofed. Added front lip spoiler from 90's civic. Will post moving video in near future.

I loved driving my family's Honda Accord. It felt so smooth, from the steering to the automatic shift lever. It was a sad day when it was traded in for a much newer Saturn Ion. The Ion was fun to drive, but never matching the Accord.

That's a sexy paint job. I had a 1989 LX sedan as my first car a few years ago with low miles and I loved the style. It broke down after a 1 hour trip (poor thing couldn't handle it) and the repair cost was too much for me at the time so I had to say goodbye to it and sell it for a couple hundred. I only wish I could have it back in the condition yours is in!

I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX (Manual). It's great condition. I will never sell it. I'm the original owner. I Live in Arizona so no rust to deal with. I only drive it from October thru May than keep in the garage for remaining months. My other car is a 2007 Honda Accord EXL. Mint condition! I don't need a new car. I just keep these two Hondas maintained. They are both a blast to drive!

Very nice Mike 94 and 2007 you have good running and easy to work on cars. I recently found out mine was bought in Hawaii while a guy was in the service, then he brought it back to Florida where I bought it. Never had mine out in the snow here in Wisconsin and always avoid going out in the rain. I'm older now and actually thinking of selling to a local Honda Dealer who would put it on display. Those are 4 bolt Honda Fit wheels. If you have a youtube video or pictures on file that you can link, it would be great to see yours. I two also wanted a stick as I had a 86 LX with the manual which is so nice. Corey

nice touch adding the modern fit wheels, that car is from when Honda had to prove themselves ,the suspension was a break through that year only did they have it on upper class cars , I have a chance to buy a 5 speed with little rust and the 2 doors are rare in ct , its 600 bucks with 273k but its still runs and drives, I think all of them ,espesally yours will go up in value

Love those 88-89 coupes ! 1998 was the last time I've owned one . All together had 5 of them of that generation. No car sense then has been able to fill it's shoes. My E46 325i kind of reminds me of that simple joy of driving I used to experience with my 88 coupe Accord. Gonna find me a clean one and keep it as a collector ! So good seeing someone loving and taking care of this gem.... Enjoyed your video man !

Thanks and I wish you the best in finding that special gem from the past. This car is a automatic and I had a smooth shifting 1986 4dr 5speed manual, which sometimes makes me feel like changing this one to a manual 5speed. But it's a lot of work and requires a doner car to scrap or put my automatic back into.

corblom11 I hear you ! I had an opportunity to buy an 89 coupe with only 65 000 original miles not too long ago, but desided to wait only because it had an automatic . Honda's magic has a lot to do with their brilliant manual trannies and smooth feather light clutches

Yes I have tried the led light replacement, actually came in a 2 pack. At first I felt it wasn't bright enough, so I soldered them together for twice the brightness, but still thought the original was a better color and illumination spread. So I went back to the original bulb. I did use some left over pieces of 3-led strips from my brothers project to light the foot area, that I really like. Thanks for the suggestion and comment

Nice find. I just picked up an 87 Accord with 200 km on it for $1000 and it is the most stable and fun cars to drive on the highway. Have a nice winding 2 lane hyw thru the hills here were I live. and it is solid as a rock going thru the curvy bits at 140 kph. I've owned BMW's and Formula Firebirds and this little car shames them.

Why thank you, being from snow country it's hard to find a clean one (no rust) so my plan is to keep it in the garage in the winter and most rainly days that can be avoided.

Good god, that thing is MINT. I just got an 88 LXI for the wife. Rebuilt the motor last month and the body and interior are in damn nice shape (no rips, fades, dents, etc). But not as nice as yours lol

Wheels are from a Honda Fit, yes I was actively looking for a 5speed parts car but it would truely be hard to tear it down gauge clusters, computer, pedals and probably decrease any future value as it's so nice in it's current condition.

Yes I do, but I don't drive it much and never in the rain or snow. I store in the garage all winter. I recently took off all those wheel opening trim chrome to clean and wax those areas as I'm sure just washing her could get dust wet under them and cause corrosion. Happy to say still looks like new. I have been contemplating selling her to a dealer who puts old Honda's on display in his showroom, or calling one of the two Honda Museums I know of, to see if they have any interest.

Maybe it would make a good tuner, but I think it's probably one of not to many in the US in this kind of shape. It would seem a shame to modify the heck out of it when a person could buy one that looks like crap and put that money in it for the same result. I'll keep it stock although I have always loved the 5sp manual shifter, A mod. I may consider. Thanks for you comment.

Very good condition for a third generation Accord. However, $15k is about the retail for a late 7th gen/early 8th gen Accord.

Yes, you wouldn't believe it's like new untill you saw it up close. Doesn't really matter if it's worth 15K or was when new, I'm not trying to be unrealistic, only indicating that I wouldn't consider selling at anything below that. So no, I really don't want to sell it. Thanks for your comments

+corblom11 Wonderful. I'd love to have one as immaculate as this, just impossible to find, maybe some day. I had an lxi 4 door that was half as clean for my first car same year, but this model is like gold in a barrel full of salt. Don't ever sell it, you'll regret it if you ever do. Hey, Thanks for the comment. I agree they a lot more fun with the manual. I had that in my 1986 Accord LX but it was a 4dr. I have been keeping a eye out for a 1989 5speed at a good price so I could make that transfer. I would have to change the pedal assembly, dash cluster, computer and shifter along with the trans, so a lot of work. From a Honda lovers collectable standpoint it's probably better to keep it all original. Replacing the leather was a job after a supplier sent it to me. I really wish I would have found a place to do cloth, it's warmer and seems to wear better.
