Wouldn't say natural, he grew into the role. Nothing is really natural tbh, you develop it. What makes it for me is that his show hits every comedic beat. While Ferguson is hands down the best interviewer, Conan is as quick witted as Craig. The big difference between him and the others, is the talent he surrounded himself with. No Late Night show showcased as many well known, and even lesser known talents that deserved the shine, than him. He innovated a lot for the format, something that is rarely done today. He was fair in his political humor, something that is much needed in today's day in age. Colbert is unbearable. I don't even like Trump, and I definitely don't want to watch a show dedicated to bashing him. Late night is dead folks.
I was obsessed with Conan in middle school and would stay up late watching him. I'm 37 watching these and absolutely loving them, laughing so loud. Thank you for this ❤
Looking back at clips of Conan from the late night days, I can't help but notice that he had such a different energy back then than he does now. He seems so much more wound up and on edge than he does these days
