Chi hoods are probably the safest hoods he could drive through. Its popping but its only popping on that gang sheet. If you keep your hat straight and you don't conduct yourself like a gang member or don't get mistook for one, dudes wont really be on you in Chi.
I had to drive through Chicago at night visiting the fam and I just use the basic rules when traveling through dangerous areas. I've driven through parts of Mexico at night that make Chicago look like Disney

Chicago ain’t no different from Baltimore, Philly, St. Louis, New Orleans, Detroit, Memphis, Brooklyn, Atlanta, South Central and he been through all those spots. The summer is turnt up in every major city with a lot of poverty.

Ahhh, the good ole days! I used to drive a tow truck on the west and south side from 10PM to 6AM... There were neighborhoods I would tow cars out of that the police wouldn't even go in..

Without all the associations with gangs, parkway gardens looks like a nicely kept neighbourhood with regular people going about their lives. The roads are good, lawns are kept, plenty of lighting and not filthy, the apartments are nice too.
Im from Detroit. I was in Chicago this weekend, and almost had to pull up and out on one of them. We be serious as F too when we say chill out part-ner.
Look at those beautifully built roads, curb-work and sidewalks . . . and tons of late model cars . . . . . you are looking at a wealthy and prosperous country . . . even the people hanging around on the street are dressed fairly well. USA USA USA . . . pretty amazing when you think about it. . . . . and THAT's South Chicago!!

Please go to KC, I’m surprised you never roll through there. Troost, the Paseo, prospect, North side KCMO. KC is the 5th most dangerous city in the U.S. right now. The East side is pretty bad too. Neighborhoods are really run down.
It wasnt like that when I was growing up it was just a little community with bad ass kids but Calumet projects was around the corner on 63rd and State .PEOPLE Grew up and shit started happening between the 2. The rest is pathetic
