Just caught this tonight. My theatre was packed. This was the most fun I’ve had in a movie in a long time. What a glorious 70s Halloween vibe. Too cozy!
Love that comics mean so much to him. Its a looked over art that doesn't bring much money. So glad he enjoys it. And its a genuinely great comic as well.
I love his office! Great actor. Loved him as Pieter and Polkadot man. And they got Lt Raczjack himself to voice over? Oh heck yes. Sign me up. Come on you apes, you wanna live forever?!
I just watched this movie last night, and I found it to be an instant cult classic. It's not scary, as in jump-scary, but it's a subtle creepshow with a slow burn that has you twisting and turning to find out what is truth and what is fiction. It's an amazingly original take on demonic possession.
This was another great interview, so hyped to see a late night showing of Late Night with the Devil, hopefully coming to a cinema near me. It's an independent so fingers crossed.
I loved this film! I've watched it on shudder, bought a copy, which I've watched and re-watched it several times. I grew up in that period and yeah, the look and feel of this film is spot on to that era, perfectly. The other thing...If they ever do a bio film of Carl Sagan......
The BBC did a documentary on Jane Austin. The network made a great effort to create an authentic ball that Austin would have attended during her life. The documentary had scholars help with the historically correct costumes, settings, and dances. However, to be politically correct several of the ball's guests were black. There would not have been any blacks as guests at a typical English country ball during Austin's time. The BBC destroyed all their attempts at a serious documentary after all it's painstaking research. Instead, the BBC made a show on the same level as Jada Pinkett Smith's Cleopatra. The network disregarded history for a stupid stunt to be politically correct.
