Merry Xmas Jared!! Them gear hoist are nice prolly one of the better things I’ve bought! Check out the outdoor edge flip n zip saw. Super light for your hang & hunt setup
was hoping for a special holiday treat and got it finding out fat boy evaded the slugs. I'm sure your paths will cross. Blessings this holiday season to you and yours.
Dang man, that's heartbreaking about all the up-and-comers being harvested. That's exactly why I have no interest in buying hunting ground. Merry Xmas and good luck
It always hurts for sure but it's all a part of it for me and my situation, so I'm used to it. I don't own or hunt enough unpressured acres to avoid it, so the hope is just to have one or two squeak through the gun seasons each year. Thanks and Merry Christmas to you too!
Unfortunately where I hunt up there has been way down as far as bucks go so I haven't made it back up there. The bucks that I was targeting early have completely disappeared, so not looking like I'll get back up there again this year.
Good morning Jared, big fan of yours… the expandable pole saw you removed from your pack caught my eye. Can you provide me the information? Merry Christmas to you and your family!!! Be safe, too!
Merry Christmas! That pole saw is the 5' Hooyman pole saw. I've had it for quite awhile now and probably overdue for an upgrade but its what I've been using for now. Thanks for the support!
Too bad about your target bucks. Im sure you will find another to go after. I have a huge bodied ten pt that my conservative estimate puts him at 6.5 yrs old. I only ever get pics of him in December. I call him Tank cuz he dwarfs the other bucks bodies. Your older buck that you were going after with the recurve reminds me of Tank. not a huge rack but palmated with short tines. I also have another 10 point but I havent gotten a pic of him in over a month so im thinking he has been killed or moved to another area. Anyways great show and look forward to see how the year finishes out for you. I hunt on state land in Northeastern Michigan.
Hey guardian. I believe they have three different production facilities where they make their products; USA, Philippines, and Vietnam. I just checked and it looks like the Treehouse 38 specifically is from their Vietnam production facility.
Many blessings in Christ rejoicing in His birth and coming as Saviour. Happy hunting. Tough year for us also. No shooter bucks in view or on camera for 2 weeks. My 16 year old son did harvest his first compound bow for a few days ago. That is a big step for him. Thank you again for content.
You peaked my interest in that pack. I’m looking for a pack that will allow me to pack in my outerwear (I.e., bibs, jacket, etc.) and possibly bow. I can’t risk breaking a sweat hiking in for those long all day rut sits. The compression straps on my current pack are not long enough.
I hear you. I think you'd like the Treehouse 38 for that, you'd have plenty of space on the inside. Or you could possibly go with the 20 and use the straps to keep your layers on the outside like you mentioned. Reach out if you have any additional questions.
Merry Christmas Jared, and may the best present ever fall to the ground for you this weekend! Question on your pack, can you, or have you attached sticks and a stand to it for hang and hunt situations? Good luck!
Thanks man, you too! I have not tried attaching a stand to it yet but the sticks for sure. Those usually sit right on the back of it and if you notice the two buckle straps that go around, those are what I use to secure those. It works great.
Awesome video Jared I ordered the pack tonight super excited for it to come in. It's expensive but it looks like the value is there to make it worth it. It'll be cool knowing I'm hunting with the same pack as you brother keep up the awesome videos.
I really appreciate the looking in your bag. I have asked several channels for an overview of what they take to the stand and you are the only one to post anything. Thanks it helps newer hunters to see the "simple stuff" that most people don't want to cover in a video.
@jaredmills it is helpful to see how people pack their pack and what they prioritize. Right now I'm learning by needing it and not having it or not having it accessible. Thanks and Merry Christmas
