I've been watching your channel for a few weeks now. Don't stress about the stuff you have to get done in 90 days. If anyone can do it, you can. From what I have learned from your videos, your outlook is "If I can envision it, I can accomplish it". How you bought your childhood home back is a prime example. If there is a will, there is a way! 🥰So inspiring!! Can't wait for the next renovation update!
Blake, that’s a perfect observation. She’s also beloved in the community and I suspect folks will come out in droves to help her. The nursery seems to want to be the heart of the town. You can almost hear its beating.
For the "white bouqu" there was a white sunflower just screaming to be used!!! It turned out beautiful!!! Your CSA members are such a lucky bunch!!!! For the nursery... Just tackle one thing at a time and before you know it... you will have everything done... We are all sending our "We believe in you" vibes--hope it helps!! ... YOU GOT THIS!!!! 💓
Hi Nicole! Just wanted to say your videos always make me smile! It's so de-stressing and inspiring watching you put together these amazing bouquets 💛 Good luck with the ongoing reno...you got this!
I so love Veda's inspired monochromatic idea. I'm all about color but I always gravitate towards texture over color with bouquets inside the house. But, really, your customers can't go wrong with any of those. Gorgeous!
Oh man Nicole, these bouquet making videos are INTENSE! I get so excited and find myself shouting at the screen things like "Feverfew! Add feverfew! It's right behind you!" And I'm always relieved when you finally hear me. 😂 Bouquet making might not be an "official" sport, but it certainly has all of the same excitement!
Hello, I watch you in the UK. I love ur enthusiasm and the fact that ur bouquets are so generous. Lots of other growers seem to focus on their profits rather than their customers, whereas you seem to really care about your customer’s experience and the joy the flowers will bring to them. That’s a great attitude and you deserve every success. All the best Margaret
You're such a great mom! So supportive. Hearing one's mom say positive things about their choices instills such confidence. And don't sweat the long list of repairs at the nursery. You have a wonderful team to get er done.
Like you, I was feeling awful today…then I saw you posted and you made me smile and you warmed my heart. You do more than grow, harvest, arrange, and sell beautiful flowers, you provide excellent content to your community and we love you for it! ❤️💐
All the flower bouquets are gorgeous but if I were to choose, I'd have to go with the muted whites and chartreuse. The textures and shades of 'non color' are spectacular.
Poor rudbeckia on the floor being completely neglected! 🤭🤭 Haha it’s funny how what’s out of sight stays out of mind. Anyhow, every bouqu turned out amazing and there was no shortage of beautiful options on those tables 😍
you can overwinter lisianthus, and also can take cuttings from it. with the nursery space you can save all your lizzies and have plenty more next year! :)
Hi Nicole, we are ROOTING (tee hee) for you!!! I love the BOUQUES and the adventure of your nursery. Consider getting a quote from another insurance company, never hurts to get a second. Also, perhaps a GAP or rider policy to bridge beyond the 90 days. Another thought, you have a broad reach with your RU-vid channel. Offer the insurance company an opportunity to display signage. That has to have some value!
It always makes me happy to see you and the flowers! About the nursery, I always thought that you saw it too rosey! The nursery is really delapedated in places and really neglected! Hope you can safe it!
I use to buy a bouquet every week with my groceries. When I got home I divided it up to use in different areas. Ever make a bouquet of just one kind of flower?
Be sure to get a TRUE value of the advertising opportunity you can offer. I think the number will be higher than you think. This will be a NATIONAL market exposure for them. Perhaps something industry related, Farmer’s comes to mind.
I love color in my bouquets, but Vada was right. The monochrome colors she suggested turned out awesome! So pretty!! You have such a good eye when arranging flowers.
Every single one is beautiful and I would love any. I hope your stress lightens. I do know how it is, but you have so much one your plate, keep up the great work.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again... you crack me up! 🥳💘 We just moved last week from the Nevada desert to be near my husband’s family in NY, a few hours west of you actually. It’s been so fun to watch you the past year knowing I’d be growing out there too one day! I just helped someone open an Airbnb near the Salmon River in Pulaski so next time we venture that way I’m totally planning it around one of your bouq bars or nursery open! 🌸
I like to put on your bouquet making videos while I'm doing something else and just listen to you talk about flowers.... it's bittersweet though obviously because if I'm doing something else then I don't see the flowers! Lol so I end up watching the video twice.... 🤷♀
Yes! the one Vada inspired was May favorite, but to be honest they were all spectacular!! I so wish the rose lilies weren’t scented, they are just so gorgeous but sadly Lillie’s are just far to fragrant for me. I grew some peacock Lillie’s this year, and they are beautiful, but I’ll be ripping them out due to the hideous smell they have- to me it smells like a rotting corpse 😖so so sad What are the peachy green frilly glads? Those are to die for!!!
Anyone else make their market bouquets while this video? Anyone else catch themselves putting these together and sayings ‘YESSSS’ or ‘WOOOOW’. No? Just me? Thanks Nicole! 😂
I shouldn't tell you all this because you all will shame me and tell me I'm wrong. My cat Langley absolutely loved to sniff flowers, she would have orange pollen all over her face and whiskers from lilies. She lived to be 18 years.
How is your wholesale selling going this season? I think I remember you saying earlier in the season that you were now a wholesale seller? Lovely bouquets as always!!
It’s so good to see your beautiful daughter helping you. The rose lilies are so big and beautiful, did you feed them when you planted them? I’m trying to find information on using Arminian basket flowers in a bouquet, but I can’t find any information other than it’s a good pollinator .
gorgeous flowers, you should do some halloween bouquets, black hollyhocks (i grow them), black petunias, I grew them also, orange marigolds, orange lilies, tithonias, neon orange flowers, and purple, any kind of purple flowers, would be just breathtaking!! even if you do just one for a video!! but you would definitely have to plan in order to grow black, orange, and purple flowers for the season.....would love to see it!!
Oh Nicole, I so wish I lived near you! I’d come volunteer at the nursery and help you get where you need to go in that 90 days. Know that my spirit and many others are cheering you on and wish they were physically there to help. You are such an inspiration to me! You are one of the people who has convinced me that anything is possible when you embrace your community. I spent many years feeling alone because I was so stubbornly “independent.” Not anymore!!! 💖💐🌻
Nicole!!! Such Glorious Amazing Variety Gorgeous bouquets!! 💫And not 1 Dahlia!!! With all you have to do and the time and effort Dahlias take - I don’t even miss them in these bouquets!!😃
You could grow some blue bog sage for pops of blue. Wonderful easy plant to grow good for cutting. It apparently keeps black spot off roses if planted near.
My four year old referred to me as her ‘flower friend’ and asked if I wanted a bouquet. It was her pronunciation of bouquet that made me realize where she had picked that up 😂
All of the bouquets were beautiful but Veda's, WOW! You have such a talent for creating awesome bouquets! I truly enjoy watching your channel. All will work out with the nursery, i can't wait to see how it all turns out!
You would almost think the previous owners didn't have insurance if the list with things you need to fix to get up to date for your insurance company. Isn't that against the law? (In Belgium it's obliged) You have a great family of builders etc. so I'm sure you'll be able to get everything done in time! You go girl! 💪💪💪
Loved the pink and vedas bouquets so beautiful , have been checking since last weekend for ur video but I know ur busy with the nursery but all ur loyal viewers keep on waiting for these and harvesting bouquets, please keep on posting
I have to tell you, you are inspiring someone in my town! On facebook on our local bulletin board someone was advertising a "bouquet bar" of their own. I saw that and wondered if they watch Nicole! I couldnt make it to theirs to ask but if she does it again I will be going!
nicole ive always wondered hpw do you water all of ur cut flower out on your farm bc if i remember correctly u dont use drip irrigation except recently on your mums...also can we all applaud those vintage rose colored lisianthus OMG!!! 😍😍😍
You are a hottie. Veda is cool. Terrific combination for bouquet making. Your bouquets are full of color. Veda's are elegant. Put her on the payroll and satisfy the tastes of every customer.
